East Bundaberg Sports Club

Had a delicious meal from the Tuesday night half price list. Steak was so tender and the meal size very generous. Service also excellent.

The food at the Palace Chinese Restaurant was below average. We had a foreign HAIR in food and told the staff, gave them back the hair crom our meal and didn't receive an apology. Not GOOD.

Couldn't give any stars less than one the new curry puffs are terrible, the fried rice was mushy can't say anything about my main as after nearly two hours it still hadn't arrived. Our otherbthree meals only turned up after several complaints to the unsympathetic wait staff. The attitude of the Club manager was no better. Having been regular patrons of this club will I be going back again. Not likely.

We ordered our meal, and another person ordered their meal before us. Our meal came out and not their meal. They waited then went to see what happened to their meal and was told that there was a whole heap of people coming and they had to serve them first. We were there before them. Twenty minutes later their meal arrived and no apology at that time. It wasn't till later and someone can and apologised. Sorry too late no offer of a free drink, dessert, meal or momentary compensation was offered. Would think twice about dining here again.

Great people, great staff, great inexpensive beer and food plus great bowls. What more can I say!

Great club and pretty good atmosphere. The bistro and Chinese part of the club are good. Lunch specials start from 11 end at 2 only costs $10 for your choice of dish and fried rice spring rolls or soup can’t go wrong! I gave 4 stars only because there is a few workers in the Chinese part with horrid customer service skills.

A big thumbs down after being a patron of this club for many years I am appalled at the attitude of both staff and manager after dining with friends in the Chinese restaurant our friend waited 1 hour for entree after asking staff where it was no one bothered to come and tell us after 2 hours our main meal hadn't turned up but other people in the restaurant had already had theirs we asked to see the manager only to be told that it wouldn't do any good.we went to see manager but his attitude was no better.we got up and left.the running of this club and attitude of staff is appalling.

Great club and friendly staff, food prices are awesome and we'll presented, and for $1 lifetime membership you can't go wrong

Worst food I’ve ever had.
-Bruschetta was so redneck that it was covered in melted tasty cheese.
-The chips were old and drowned in oil
-Veges were of a frozen variety- cold as ice.
-Chicken Kiev was drier than the Sahara Desert. -Rump steak wasn’t a Rump steak- contained more fat than a contestant on the ‘Biggest Loser’.
-Gravy was straight out of a packet.

Great atmosphere, very relaxed and unbeatable food and beverage prices.
A travellers dream!

Great little club. Sunday roasts are very cheap and good. Hidden garden chinese restaurant does a great lunch for $10. They have my favourite beer on tap. Tooheys Old

Well we went for our Xmas party around about 12 of us. And yeah we were shocked at the state of the place we launched in the Chinese food area and there air conditioning had all mildew on each of them when more people came it certainly couldn't handle the crowd we were all hot like we couldn't breathe. Went into the bar to get drinks there serving out if eskys drinks were very cold at all I was so was the other girls shocked about the condition of the club. Really was shocked.something seriously need attention there. Big time. One of the ladies took pictures of the mildew on the air conditioning. So we have proof of that. Very unhealthy indeed.
