Made an appointment cos I was in an emergency with a head injury I sat in the waiting room for 45 mins to tell me they can’t see me due to the network being down and I couldn’t access my health care card, they then allowed me to walk out of the surgery with my head split open i think they handled this situation very poorly and they have a duty of care when someone comes in with a head injury especially……. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE

I have been seeing dr yassie for a couple of years. He takes the time for us. He has been extremely fantastic with my son very compassionate about his work. Have NOT had any problems with this surgery.

One of the best clinic I have been for an skin issue. Dr. Musarrat is great.
I recently moved from Sydney and after visiting few medical centres around, I felt QLD is really not a good place to see a doctor. This practice is bulk billed as well as the doctor was great to give you enough time examining and discussing the issue. I highly recommend.

I do not trust this place. I was informed I needed a biopsy of something I had no concern over and not to worry as no scar would be left. However, 6 months later I have a depressed crater on my face and the Dr had wanted to take a larger biopsy size but I insisted on a small one. I went back and the Dr said he had done nothing wrong and could see nothing wrong with the area and there is no scar. Will not be going back please stay away if you value your appearance

Dr Yasir is incredibly patient and a man of many remarkable skills. He has made a tremendous impact saving my friend's parents from multiple skin issues that could have progressed into skin cancers. It is hard to find a doctor so caring and you can see that through his overwhelming patient support that regularly return without hesitation for his valued insight on various medical problems. Dr Sheraz the new doctor is extremely friendly too and a credit to the wonderful team there.

My family have been patients at this practice since day one! We have noticed many changes take place in the past 12-18mths.

I would like to address the review made by Janine Bartholomeuz. Your comments toward the receptionist Nina seem to be more of a personal attack rather than an honest review. If what you say is true. How would you react if you spoke to yourself on the day you claim Nina was rude & unprofessional? Most times, a person would mirror the body language & tone used when communicating. Did you give her the benefit of the doubt as not all receptionists (regardless of industry) have authority for carrying out requests by patients or external clients?

I am a Practice Manager of a Medical Centre and we do unfortunately come across people like YOU who are quick to pass judgement based on: 1) Not getting what you want without considering that procedures & processes in place need to be met before an outcome is reached. 2) Have a drug dependency issue and when rejected by the GP you target the next person and 3) You genuinely have an issue quiet possibly caused by human error. But which human is truly at fault for this error?

I would hope one day in the near future. You will consider before putting down in a public forum. How you would like yourself or your child/ren to be critiqued in there place of employment. A post directly attacking you or your child or a review offering feedback to assist you and your child to grow from?

My family adore you Dr Fiona. Keep up the great work Eagleby Family Practice.

I have recently moved here from the Gold Coast and it was important for me to find a good doctor as we all want that I suppose. I have been with this clinic just over a year and they're really good. I'd definitely recommend dr.sharma as she is awesome and understands me. As for the two receptionist, I have to agree with the first comment the two girls seem unprofessional and rude at times! As for Nina the kiwi receptionist she goes above and beyond and is totally professional! I'm only hanging on to this clinic for dr sharma and Nina hehe

First off, Dr Sharma is amazing. Best doctor i have found in the area.
But the receptionist i spoke to at 11: 19am today was, as usual, abrupt, unprofessional, in compassionate and plain rude. She failed to show any sort of understanding towards my frustration about an ongoing serious medical ailment of my daughters, that i have had to visit the practice about numerous times now. She was so rude, she cut me off during our conversation, then hung up on me without saying goodbye. While i was still speaking!
Shame on you Nina, it is not the first time you have had this attitude with me either

I have been a patient attending this Practice for 5yrs. The Doctors are fantastic & provide professional healthcare services.

However. Due to changes such as Dr Sharma becoming the director/manager of the practice (as Ive learnt during my visit). She has employed 3 indian receptionists, an aussie receptionist & NZ receptionist. Although the aussie lady is helpful she does yell (hairing impaired? & no longer working there?) whilst talking but at least we could hear & understand her. Another has very very poor english & difficult to understand. The second receptionist, you cannot hear her if you were to speak with her in person or by phone. I cannot imagine how awful this would be for our elderly, the hearing impaired or anyone in general. Its quite clear that she does not know her job or what she is doing, likewise with the third receptionist. Another patient stated they are the Dr Sharma's twin daughters. So I can understand the view of employing, but at the cost of possibly losing business or being subjected to negative feedback due to inexperienced staff?

Word of mouth tends to be the best form of advertising & as an avid local community volunteer of 22yrs. The people in this community whom are patients are losing respect for this Practice.

On a positive note. There is a NZ lady (Nina) who operates the front at times. Without her, I would be moving elsewhere, a thought shared by many others. She goes above & beyond to ensure your needs are attended to. She is a professional, friendly & very welcoming. Communication is second to none. I have observed Nina & in a job-share position, I struggle to understand why the other receptionists are present. They are constantly telling her I cant do this or that. Disapointing!

I really do hope that something will done to ensure professionalism is restored in this medical practice.
