dusk Ipswich

I to Dusk to buy the special novelty things, especially at Halloween because they’re awesome products.

When my mum and I walked in, the woman approached and asked if she could help. I told her I was there for the Halloween stuff and was so excited! My happiness dissipated VERY QUICKLY.
The woman followed us around and basically stood touching us, while watching everything we did and when she wasn’t standing beside us, she was watching us like a hawk from the register, standing on her toes and craning her neck to see what we were doing?

Is it because I have tattoos? My mum is middle aged and I’m disabled but I don’t know why we were being watched like that? It was very weird and made us feel extremely comfortable and judged when we had given NO reason for that kind of treatment, nor did we do anything wrong.

Won’t be going back to the store again.
Thanks for making us feel so unwelcome and like we were thieves or something.

After a recent not so nice experience at Dusk yamanto I feel like I need to give a 5 star here because after a last minute Christmas shop on a very busy weekend the ladies here were so welcoming, immediately greeted (even with a full shop), asked if I needed a hand with anything and they were happy to assist when we asked the best candles & holders to go with the gorgeous lanterns! I live closer to the Yamanto store but would gladly drive out of my way to go to the Ipswich store instead!

I am a member, I like seeing what's on sale and will also replace the used candles at home and sometimes buy gifts for friends and family

Smells like heaven! Very nice place, in the heart of Riverlink shopping centre.

Great shop the staff seemed a bit stressed but was able to get what I needed

Staff were friendly and helpful. Shop very crowded though with Christmas shoppers. Specials in store were fantastic
