Erin was awesomely outstanding and courteous!
I left my umbrella there and she held onto it for 2 days and gave it to me! Wow

Great breeze out on the balcony and nice and quiet, so we didn't have to yell over eachother. It was a pretty chill night, great atmosphere, the staff were lovely too. Hats off to the chef my steak was cooked perfectly.

Since the refurb the place has changed sadly.and not for the best! 2 drinks and I was cut off, (first time in my life). Possibly because I had an opinion when I was told if I wasn’t playing a pokie machine I couldn’t stand next to my daughter and son who were playing and spending money. Duty manager and higher up management who were present and had instructed a bar staff girl to come over and inform us of the NEW rules. (which I failed to see any signage for) … are only concerned about recouping the refurb costs and don’t care about patrons who are simply having a drink with family and or friends.
Go to runaway bay tavern instead, where you are treated decently and with respect!

Enjoyed a tasty lunch sitting outside. We were shown a table and then left to our own devices, no menus given, and no advice on ordering procedure. We located the QR code to order but preferred to order at the bar after locating hard copy menus ourselves. One has to order the food separately to any drinks, although the same chap served us for both. Being a public holiday, we definitely got the vibe, the server would rather be elsewhere than attending to us. 3 adults (1 senior) 2 kids meals arrived in good time and were tasty and good value. The burgers are large, as was the kids' mini cheeseburger, which was anything but small. The seniors' serve was smaller as expected but a perfect size. Would go again based on the food and atmosphere.

Service was amazing, friendly staff all the way through… so happy to find a new local. Special thanks to Mark for taking care of my assistance dog and making us feel welcome

Hadn't been for a long time. Food was very average for price. Wouldn't go back. We had 5 meals at our table and only one person was happy with the meal overall. Perhaps just a bad day. Wasn't busy and the meals were very slow coming out.

Newly refurbished Dublin Docks offer a great atmosphere for events and dining the food and service was excellent

Hoppy and Brooke were amazing in the bistro and helped with every question and concern I had and made a super pleasant evening out and dan and renee in the bar were great conversationists and excellent servers

It is a bit inconsistent, I had the lamb shank it was one if the best I have had potatoe was creamy smooth and tasty veggies still has a little bite not over cooked and the shank was not over spiced. 2 others with me had the Guinness pie they said it was OK but expected it to be better for the price. My advice is do not buy the seniors meals fish was dry and just warm and chips cold, meal was barely touched it was that bad and the last time seniors meal was just as bad schnitzel was so over cooked was inedible. We should get the same level of quality in seniors which is usually the case just smaller meals NOT lesser quality.

I am writing this review on behalf of my aunt and uncle that visited your restaurant recently. They requested a paper menu (as they are older and not used to ordering online) and were treated very rudely and told paper menus were not available and that all ordering had to be completed online. There experience mirrors that of another customer review a month ago by Karen Ngwenya. You noted your disappointment and assured Karen that your staff would be better trained but it seems this hasn’t been addressed. I hope this second disappointing review prompts a reminder to address this issue.

Every time I come to Dublin docks I feel so welcome and the team members are so lovely and accommodating! Especially Hoppy! You’re always looked after like family and the food is so great! I love coming to Dublin docks with my friends and family. Hoppy is always extremely happy and helpful, he really makes the place come alive! The food is always such good quality as well with no fault!

Awesome service and food. Salt and pepper calamari melts in your mouth and the parmy fills you up. Reat bar service as well. Don't forget to tip

Had lunch yesterday and purchased the Japanese Power Bowl. As mentioned by other reviewers, processed chicken used. Not real chicken breast. See the pics. Presumably a healthy dish, this has deep fried processed chook. We, as others have reviewed before, also had troubles with the ordering system. Drink orders were incomplete, and we had to manually go to the bar to have them corrected. Par for the course when humans are replaced by machines so errors are to be expected. But the Chicken? Not acceptable.

Very displeased with our Melbourne Cup Function experience today! Paid $70 per person & set menu was changed twice & we did not get our main meal until well after the race was run & that was only because we had to complain several times! We received a substitute meal of steak which was tough & unappetizing! The manager was kind enough to refund us for one meal but just not good enough! I had my 60th at the Tavern & it was amazing but not so today! My 84 year old Mum accompanied us & she lives locally & frequents the Tavern with the family & was very disappointed! Hoppy was not on duty today & he has always gone out of his way to make sure we were happy unfortunately I think it will be a long time before we return! You need to pick your game up Dublin Docks! I'm having lunch here with my family, and it's a brilliant place for kids, they've got kids activity packs that have kept them occupied for ages. Alison has been our amazing server; the food was great, chips and Aiolo, plus yummy Irish tri-colour salad (haloumi, roast pumpkin, pistachios and leafy greens). I've been here a few times over the years, and will definitely be back.

Awesome meals again. We have been here a few times now and not yet had a bad meal. Today the steak was cooked to perfection, and the Irish stew was delightful.
Staff as always so friendly, efficient, and happy. Well done. Keep up the great work.
