Drakes Regents Park reviews
61Best local shopping go to open earlier & retail most holidays than the major supermarkets.
I am really impressed by the range of meat in the chilled section. Can alway count on them to have something awesome to chuck on the bbq like their Texas steak things they are amazing
Horrible customer service today! 06/06/23
Served by a sassy women with curly hair at the checkout. Very very rude and offensive. She commented on the way i look and i found it very disrespectful. She then continued to rudely ask me “do u need bags” when i had two bag in my hand already. Like tf do u think, does it look like i need bags?
I feel ashamed and disrespected, i will never be returning to drakes at regents park! Instead will be taking my business to IGA Hillcrest, where i don’t get racially profiled and physically touched.
Drake is a terrible artist, and i believe the people who work for him are also the same. Especially the one with curly hair.
2 check out staffs tonight were terrible no smile and when they offered plastic bag, we rejected as we brought our own. I was serviced by a young man, and my daughter was serviced by a medium aged woman. They looked at us as racist and pushing our shopping stuffs to our own bag. They are not like the advertising at all.
Worst place to order with ubereats, they remove items that are available (I've gone down while ordered they deliberately don't add them, so you end up paying 16$ for a bottle of milk. Utter trash place to order from.
Went in this morning to grab a coffee machine I seen yesterday to give as a present. Got in store and the last 1 sold last night. Spoke with Ken and Naomi who both went above and beyond to source another one from another store. They managed to find 1 and bought it to the store within an hour ready for me to pickup. I cannot thank these 2 amazing people enough, your help and kindness will not be forgotten. People like you give faith back to humanity. Merry Christmas
Be better if your employees stopped going threw the hotwheels boxes and taking cars before anyone else els can get any hahaha lossers
I generally really like shopping at IGA but the last 2 times I've been there it was very disappointing. It's not the store but a CERTAIN staff member by the name of SAVARNAH that WAS SUPPOSED to serve us at the checkout but was too lazy to pack our purchases. Therefore one of our purchases was left behind because who knows where she's put whilst my husband did HER job. It happened 1.45pm today and that was the 2nd time we experienced that with said SAVARNAH.
Other people shopping at IGA beware not to be " served " by this above mentioned girl.
Pay a lot for a Pineapple, get it home and its rotten in side!
Last time i shop here for fruit and veg.
Best barber in town so I thought for many years until I had my beard trimmed and my moustache cut on an angle couldn't handle it and had to shave my whole face
Good, tidy store. Great fresh produce and a good range of other products. Staff are friendly.and helpful
So much easier than Coles or Woolworths and the stuff I've checked is the exact same price as the others. I do all my grocery shopping here.
For fun, I went to another local supermarket. Woolies sucks by comparison. Stick with Drakes.
Drakes always has good quality meat and the bakery has a large variety. The staff are also friendly
Convenient and easy parking, usually quick in and out. They also open public holidays which is awsome if you need something.
I came in today to my friendly local grocery shop at Drakes today where I had the very large lady with very curly very thin hair serve me today tbh she looked like shrek and I started fan girling but I’m completely traumatised from this experience I’ve had with this so called women! She/IT started serving me and started YELLING AT ME CALLING ALL TYPES OF CODES OUT cause apparently you are not allowed to transfer money to pay for your items that you are paying for. This women/IT is nuts and shouldn’t work with people if she can’t handle normal people things
So much easier than Coles or Woolworths and the stuff I've checked is the exact same price as the others. I do all my grocery shopping here.
Love that it's so friendly here. Very local. Fruit n Veg can be a bit expensive and quality is a bit of a hit and miss sometimes but otherwise we are here every 2nd day or so to grab something. It's so conveniently close.
I love this shop always well stacked and they even have a section that has gift items so beautiful and you have to try their coffee sponge cake with coffee flavoured icing sprinkled with walnuts omg to die for
This is generally a great place to shop, friendly, helpful staff and never a parking issue, HOWEVER, I was very unimpressed today to see at least 5 people in the store without masks, the staff apparently cannot ask people to wear them, I understand that management want to avoid abuse but, it is against health requirements and maybe there needs to be a security person at the entrance to enforce these laws
Every time I step into a Drake's it's like stepping into a time machine to 2005. Always out of the fruit or veg you're looking for.
