Day One Eagleby has a wonderful atmosphere that makes entering feel at home. The staff members are always so warm and welcoming. Both the communication and the workplace behaviour are outstanding. Would repeatedly advocate for this centre

Second day care my children have attended due to neglect from their first centre. Can not recommend this centre enough, the educators are all wonderfully, the centre manager greets everyone with a smile, it is very hard to find centres where the educators love what they do which shows in the children as well. Well equipped to support children with special needs, and any special requirements for the children.

The first day care I have had my children attend where the staff put the children first. Families are always welcomed, they are always treated with respect and the children are always happy and want to go to their “school”. My children love attending Day one and I’m glad I found a safe space for my children to attend daily.

After having a bad experience with certain Early learning centres I was dubious if to try another. I decided to enrol my Daughters into Day one ELC for a last try at finding somewhere that would cater for early starts and the odd late finish (they are open 6 till 6) and I am absolutely glad I did.over the last 12months the changes at this centre put it in a league of its own, my 4 year old can already do her ABCs, count to 20, write her own name and after using the swimming program during winter she is also able to swim un-aided in our pool. I also use the centre for before and after school care which if you are reading this you know how hard that is to find. The vibe here is just like walking into a family members home with smiles and laughter pretty much everyday I pick up my girls. Thankyou to all of you from the Director through all of the Educators as it is really a joy knowing that my kids are not only safe but learning some amazing things. Thank you Day one.

Great facilities for the kids education, educators are really helpful and knowledgeable.
Always feel welcome by the director and anyone else greeting me at the front counter. Highly recommend.

Would recommend Day One - Eagleby Campus to any parent. The staff are fun, engaging and a breath of fresh air, it is so lovely to see a centre full of professional staff and children who have constant smiles on their face. Management are fun and always have the parents best interests at heart

In the time I’ve spent at the centre it’s always felt inclusive and inviting. The educators are all lovely and welcoming and are always happy to answer any questions or queries I have. The children are always happy and engaged and enjoying their days.

The educators are warm and friendly and always go out of their way to ensure my children are happy and engaged in fun and playful activities. The DO programs, particularly in the Kindergarten Room have set my children up for a smooth transition to school. We only left as we moved out of the area, but cannot recommend highly enough!

Wonderful staff members always looking after my son and taking care of him. I have alot of respect for the staff members who look after children and you get some ungrateful parents and children who kick and pit at the staff members I hate it when parents and children don't respect these educators and think that they are just babysitters they are much more than babysitters they are amazing people who have taught my son his abcs and learning to count

Such a lovely centre! You feel at home as soon as you walk in. Lovely staff, friendly service, would definitely recommend! If you want a service that cares for your children like they are their own then I would highly suggest this centre!

Honestly, the daycare started out great for us, as we have a son with special needs, we were promised the adequate care for him, however within a few weeks we noticed a massive change in our sons behaviour, he flat out refused to go to school, and when we asked why, he would tell us a certain child is being mean to him. We brought this up with the staff, to which the response was more about what our son did wrong, and not why he got upset, we got the impression he was not being as looked after as they initially promised. One day I walked in to find one of the staff grabbing my son by the arm very aggressively, and once she noticed me she apologised and went on to day she just had a rough day with him. Not long after that my son was expelled. Our experience was by far the worst we ever had, I was made out to be a liar, my partner was spoken to inappropriately l, and they completely let us down at such a vital time. I sincerely hope they don't repeat the horrible mistakes they made, we have followed the correct procedures post expulsion, just be careful. They are very unreliable.

Day one is a very lovely place. It is so much better than mulberry bush i am happy they have changed the staff. They are always helpful and I am happy that my child is happy at this centre. I have always struggled in finding a great centre for my child and I'm happy to say if I needed to put my elder children in care I would fully trust this team.
Thank you so much
Day one staff and team managers

All 4 of my children attend Day One ELC Eagleby Campus. My children enjoy their time and are always happy. Their educators have taken the time to get to know them and provide care based on their specific needs. The communication is great with the addition of the new childcarers app. I feel confident that my children are in capable and qualified hands and that they are loved and cared for when I am not with them.

The staff here are so welcoming! Drop offs are a breeze because the Educators are all amazing and loving and my children can feel the great energy. I find it more of a struggle to get them to leave.
All educators will say Kia Ora & Ka Kite not only the Kohanga room which is amazing to have everyone so open and accepting.
I’m very happy and greatful to know that my children are loved and well looked after?
Thank you to all the staff at the Mulberry Bush and big thanks to Whaea Maraea and the rest of the staff at The Mulberry Bush?

The mulberry bush is an amazing centre full of such beautiful, friendly and loving staff. They always put the kids first, which is so important to me. I was so sad to have to have my daughter leave to go to prep this year, but the girls from the centre that see her still say hello and love to see how well she is going.

My babies love this kohanga and feel the safe vibe our lovely teacher's have to offer. I am a mama who found it difficult to leave my babies because they had a hard time settling, but with the consistent tautoko and aroha my babies can now leave me for school with our crying. A massive stepping stone that makes this mama a proud mama.

Since new owners the Malberry Bush isn't a enjoyful family daycare, kids are being abused and neglected unsupervised and not taken serious, after having 8 of my 9 children grow up threw the daycare I'm sad to say that I am pulling my child out because of lack of supervision and no communication between carers.
