David Jones - Sunshine Plaza

Well laid out, clean and tidy, and the best fitting rooms I have come across. Went here to shop one afternoon and accidentally left my designer prescription sunglasses in store. I called as soon as I could and the most lovely lady named Renai looked around the store for them and found them for me. She then went out of her way to ask her fellow coworkers if anyone lived nearby to me and organised for another amazing lady, Helen, to drop them off to me when she was next out and about. Not only was everyone friendly when I was in store, but these two beautiful ladies did so much for me, they aren’t just great at customer service but they are great people too. I hope to thank them in person next time I visit DJs.

So calm, so nice.suits me very well, don't enjoy bustle and noisy shops.

David jones Maroochydore has lost it spark since they shut down the cafe should reopen it would bring back customers. Went in there today to get a few things no sales people anywhere to found them all at the makeup counter talking a few of them were rude. They used to be friendly, happy to help it’s sad what is happening with this don’t care any more.

Tiffany took a really personable, friendly approach and helped me so much! Your enthusiasm to help and professionalism while at it absolutely shone through, what a lovely experience! Waited at the rear service desk, where I was told to go to purchase items by other staff members who were standing around talking, to be told by the lady at the desk to go to another desk, as she was talking to ‘someone she hadn’t seen in years’. There was one male staff member walking around trying to help people, everyone else seemed quite happy avoiding customers. Will happily go to Myers from now on.

My partner and I went to buy cologne and perfumes on thursday the 22nd at maroochydore and stood around waiting for assistance and finally had to ask the two girls talking for help and apon finding out the ones we were looking at weren't available she disappeared so after looking for a while found others we liked and all 3 staff ladies were standing together chatting so we left and spent $650 at Myers instead where the young lad was a pleasure and overly helpful.congratulations to Myers on there staff choice

I have shopped at DJ’s half my lifetime. Unbeknownst to me, they changed their return policy (for the worse) during the pandemic. I tried to return something for a credit note outside of the new returns period and was not able to. The thing is, this item would be easy to sell in store, despite it being on sale AND the returns period is NOT displayed on the receipt. I would’ve returned this item much earlier had this info been displayed on the receipt (I’m very busy). I spent 1k in that one DJ’s transaction. Sometimes, following rigid rules isn’t good for business… On a positive note, some of the staff there lovely, if you can get their attention (DJ’s is notorious for understaffing).

The telephone system is ridiculous, I tried to reschedule an appointment with the MAC make-up counter and spent 45 minutes being transferred in a phone loop. I would have just not bothered after this and ended up being a no show but I had paid a $50 deposit that I did not want to lose. Seriously get your act together David Jones Maroochydore, your store is practically a morgue now and this is not a great way to keep customers coming back. The issue is not the phone operators they tried to get anyone to answer the phone in Maroochydore at any counter and once I was finally on to the Maroochydore customer service person she hung up on me and I had to go through it all over again - Is it the Maroochydore staff that don't seem to get the phone calls or are they ust not answering them - 9: 30 am on a Monday morning - come on it's not busy?

Phone service to speak with customer service is ridiculous. Waited 30 mins before being answered.

Sales staff in women’s wear and MIMCO at David Jones - Sunshine Plaza provide consistent excellent service and are the key reason I shop David Jones.

Was shoe shopping over the weekend and got lucky enough to be served by Anoushka, who was lovely! She gave a lot of helpful advice and made me feel very confident and special. Crazy what difference a genuine person can make to someones day. Didn't even end up buying the shoes, but service was 10/10.

After a phone call stating specifically what I wanted in cookware, i was assured the product i wanted was there, even to the brand. However after 60 kms one way, the product did not exist and I was shown other products that did not fit my criteria.

Terrible service from young staff at David Jones Maroochydore. I was given incorrect information by a young female member of staff in the appliance section then when I question her incorrect information she muttered at me under her breath, turned her back on me and just walked off.
The standard of service from younger staff is terrible as they just don't seem to care!

Bought a nighty for an elderly lady from chermside but they only had one size which was a small so we got it, and the lovely girl working told us that sunshine plaza had a medium one, so we went up to the coast and got it exchanged which wasn't a problem, but the woman that served us was rude and looked down her nose at us lik she thought we weren't dressed like we should be in her shop or taking up her time (wearing plain shirt and jeans, my mum was in a jumper and trakkies), when i suggested to my mum we have a bit of a look at the other night gowns she said that the discounted items were on the other side and that there's no use looking at the fully priced clothing, got out of there as quickly as possible

We paid and ordered our lunch and 45mins later we were still waiting. It never arrived. When we requested a refund, that took another 12mins to get sorted.
Very disappointing. Will never go there again.

Our lunch break was finished just waiting - very poor service. There were 3 staff members and not many customers.

Just went to the cosmetics section to buy a makeup bag and nail polish. The older lady that served me was so rude, abrupt and impatient with me. I felt like it was beneath her to serve me and I was being a nuisance. No wonder DJs is not doing well when you walk out of the store feeling like you were an intrusion.

Great service with everything you need for a little bit of luxe. Some good bargains too. Staff very helpful and efficient. Hopefully the coffee shop will reopen soon.

I prefer to shop here, you get great service and reasonable prices. Like anything or anywhere you pay for quality, if you want Kmart quality go to Kmart.

David Jones brings a whole new dimension to the Plaza and although not a fan of the current clothing stock, the staff are lovely and helpful.
