Depressing - a once great Australian business in its final death throes, which is without leadership or direction. I found what I wanted to buy, but it was a struggle. It's as if they don't want customers.

Always my least favorite time to be shopping.the mad pre-Christmas dash. It seems that most others do the same thing.but if I must do it, it's always most fulfilling at DJs

Today we had a fantastic customer service experience with Mel at the Country Road Counter.
We were in search of a bag & had traveled from Indooroopilly in the hopes DJs had stock. The center air conditioning was broken so it was super hot & the store was busy.
Mel offered to check the stock at the back in the docks without hesitation. To our surprise she came back very quickly with the bag we were chasing! (We were advised by Country Road this was sold out nationwide)
We are super grateful for Mel going above and beyond, providing awesome customer service throughout a busy busy time! Our Daughter will be stoked opening her gift om Christmas Day! Thank you Mel - have a great Chrissy!

The most unappealing run down David Jones store i've ever been to. Not including the rude customer service that just stared at me instead of serving me. Never going back to this store again!

DJs does seem to be in transition at the moment. Open floor space and a few sectioned off areas. I hope they bounce back and restock shortly

Love Dj's. I should shop here more often, they have old school charm and service with some surprising good prices on quality products.

Drove 20km to get something that was listed on the website as being in stock only to find out that wasn't and the staff were fully aware that the website was wrong as we were 1 of many who had done the same thing over the last couple of weeks.

No service from staff but the Asian lady who did finally come running to me was excellent. Greeted me with a smile and informed me of a discount if I signed up.

Couldn't find what I wanted but had helpful staff that gave me other options and other suggestions to where I could go it's a nice brightly lit store, with plenty of choices, perfume section is awesome, lots of samples

Had the most wonderful experience at the Clarins counter today at DavidJones, Garden City. Yvonna took the time and trouble to help me with much needed skin care and make up advice. Nothing was too much trouble.
Following a long battle of ill health she had the care and compassion to help without rushing me. I will certainly return. Thank you Yvonna.

Sad to see so much if the store closed off. But still the same quality of product and reasonable price. Let's support the staff by shopping

I was served by a wonderful Lady in the Bra section. Sorry I can't recall her name atm but she came a long time ago from Malaysia to Australia. This is what I call customer service. Instead of being treated like number, personal exchange of a few nice words make all the difference.
Now David Jones I sincerely hope you are pro choice for your staff and customers to keep me as a customer.

In need of a facelift and some staff.
Floor staff are few and far between, makes me wonder who is actually watching the store when you can be there for half an hour and maybe come across one team member. This store hasn't been touched since it opened. It's looking and. Smelling rather dated.
It's not great to shop in, the lighting is so dark and it's not very inviting. Since they boarded up half of the bottom floor it feel like a construction site. The range stocked now is also rather pathetic. Good for a few bits and pieces.

Love David Jones could spend half a day here just browsing. Also love the beauty gifts with purchase that you can sometimes get. A big fan of their online store as well.

Appalling customer service today near the bags and watch section. We wanted to see a watch we were a group of 6 women. Staff was doing nothing but told us sorry she couldn’t help but someone else at the other counter (which she could clearly see no one was there) would help. We kinda waited for the other person to come but nothing so we want back to ask the lady again only for her to go off looking for another staff to help us. When she could of easily helped us herself. Ooooof David Jones is this what you want your staff to do to paying customers. Anyways we bought the same watch (even though it was cheaper at David Jones) from somewhere else.

Very tired and dated looking store. In desperate need of a major refurbishment. Also the range of small appliances was extremely subpar.
