Both my daughters dance at Dance House, they love it! They started at 2 years old, Miss Julie is very good and making them feel welcome and settling them in, they love to dance and love the routines and music they dance to, they started with ballet and now do ready set dance, i would highly recommend Dance House, we look forward to the end of year show each year!

My daughter had never danced before. She loves Dancehouse Smithfield. She has gained so much confidence thanks to the extra care and attention Julie has given her with her special needs.
She has helped her overcome her co-ordination issues & given both my daughter and I a real appreciation for dance & the joy it brings to many.
My daughter has the best time and is constantly challenged and entertained by the fresh approach at Dancehouse Smithfield.
Julie, thank your for the extra mile you go to keep our kids love of dance alive.

Dancehouse and Julie Barclay are synonymous to gentle discipline. After only a year under Julie's tutelage, my daughter's dancing and her attitude towards it have matured notably. Julie encourages and supports my daughter's goal to be her best and happiest. I'm glad we chose Dancehouse!

Enrolling in Dancehouse was one of the best decisions I ever made. I have grown so much as a dancer thanks to the positive and hardworking environment, alongside the amazing people I get to see every week. After only one year of classes here, the studio is like a second home to me.

My girls love the Dancehouse and their Teacher Julie Barclay. Julie has always been kind, caring and professional and knows the girls well after over three+ years of being in their lives. She teaches them both the discipline required to be good dances along with the fun, enjoyment and pleasure that comes from doing something that you love. I highly recommend her teaching methods and the ethos, high standards and values that guide her school of dance.

Dance house is such a positive and friendly dance studio that develops dancers with great technique and passes on the love of dance. Dance house is like one big family and all the students are such great friends. The captivating concerts are always the best part of the year. Couldn't imagine myself dancing anywhere else️ (By lili)

My 12 year old daughter is finishing up her seventh year at Dancehouse. The studio has a beautifully supportive and inclusive culture, feels like a second home to all of us. The teachers are patient and caring and work diligently to help the girls grow and achieve their best. The older students are wonderful mentors for the younger girls.

My daughter, Asha, was just under 2 years when we first introduced her to Dancehouse (her elder sister has been dancing there since 2011 aged 4.5 years) to participate in the "Imagine You and Me" classes in 2015. Although she was a little dubious about the class to start with and required lots of cuddles and reassuring, she started to grow in confidence and ability.

We have now spent this year, 2016, taking "Little Movers" and Asha, who has just turned 3 years, absolutely loves it and can almost take the class all by herself! It develops her coordination, concentration and imagination with dancing, story telling and apparatus. It has been a real pleasure to watch her and the other children in the class grow in confidence and ability as the year has passed.

I highly recommend Little Movers to anyone as a fun and beneficial activity for little children. And I recommend Dancehouse as a whole to children of any level to help teach respect, team work, commitment and an all round love of dance.

We started my 18 month old in the Dance With Me Saturday morning class a few weeks ago - she gets so excited when she sees us get her little tutu out in the morning! If you think your bubs too young to enjoy themselves in something like this, don't stress - the instructors make it so much fun for them, and they have so much patience (mine spends half the lesson running around trying to take her leotard off!). They don't need to be pro dancers at this age, and for a working mum who struggles to find classes for an energetic under-2, the Saturday morning class is perfect! She's always so happy afterwards, and it's great watching her get a little more confident each class.
