They enter children when they are too young, I decided to take my child out because she just was not able to recieve instruction only because she was not the right age to learn ballet.

Dance Central has been our dance school of choice for many years now and we are continually grateful for the care, attention to detail and sense of community Alison and her team have provided to our children.

My daughter started ballet at Dance Central in 2020. She is loving it so much that she's doing two classes a week this year. Dance Central is everything we were hoping for, the teachers and staff are lovely and we’re looking forward to another great year ahead!

Our 4 year old started ballet half way through 2020 and we were unsure as to whether she would enjoy it and do the BIG show as she's quite shy. Her teacher, Miss Lucy, was so good that she loved the classes and asked when the next big show was as she wanted to do it again. I would highly recommend Dance Central.

Since the time my daughter could walk, she wanted to dance. At 2 1/2 years old, she started at Dance Central and at 15 years old, she is still there and loving it. The teachers are caring and professional and are not just worried about the dancing but what’s happening in the students lives in general. Couldn’t ask for a better studio for your dancer!

My daughter has been at DC for ten years now and I see her attending to the end of her school life. Dance Central has been where she has spent a huge amount of time outside of school. I have always believed the school encourages inclusiveness within the whole studio. The teachers treat the students fairly when it comes to their talents and weaknesses and they encourage every child to give their best.
My daughter misses the studio on school holidays and can't wait to go back. That to me says a lot about a place.

Our daughter has attended Dance Central since 2010, the year she turned 5, she is now in her 11th year. She has enjoyed every step of her dance journey from beginner to polished performer. Dance Central is an excellent studio with dedicated and professional teachers offering a wide range of dance styles. A true dance school that nurtures and develops all levels of talent and provides excellent opportunities for learning and also performance for all students via the yearly productions professionally delivered on Toowoomba's Empire Theatre Stage. Highly recommended for both aspiring professional dancers and those wishing to dance in a welcoming and friendly space.

Dance Central is an extremely professional dance studio providing opportunities for dancers they would not get elsewhere.

Dance Central is a studio that offers a huge range of dance styles- ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, commercial, music-theatre, acro and drama. Dancers are encouraged to embrace a love of music and movement, and every dancer is encouraged to strive for their best. Talented dancers are identified and supported through Elite coaching, and private lessons are available. The studio environment is safe, clean, friendly and supportive and the teachers are highly trained and professional.

My daughter has been at Dance Central for nearly 4 years. The teachers are all very dedicated and encourage every student. Very grateful that my daughter can attend this professional studio.

Dance Central provides a nurturing and fun environment. Their staff are professional and friendly and their wealth of expertise with performance makes recitals, exams and competitions a rewarding and well organised experience. I highly recommend this studio!

Dance Central is THE best dance school in Toowoomba! You will never find anywhere better! There are so many dance schools in Toowoomba and if you are not sure what to look for it can be a hard decision to make, as you don’t want to make the wrong one for the benefit of your budding dancer! But just be careful when looking at some of the Dance schools around town! Many look showy and fantastic, and promise many things - but unfortunately many provide substandard teaching- from very basic levels - which means your child doesn’t ever fully develop the skills to become the dancer they could become! Not only that, what many parents don’t realise is that many of these other schools around town don’t even have qualified teachers! So don’t be persuaded by the bells and whistles of all these little schools popping up around town! If you are looking for somewhere for your child to grow and be nurtured in a family orientated environment by quality staff and facilities - look no further than Dance Central! All the teachers are highly trained, and very professional- but more than anything they are caring, and amazing with your children! They will help them grow into the most amazing dancer they can be, and the broad range of different types of classes means your child will be given every opportunity to try different styles of dance and find their passion! The teachers are brilliant at providing guidance to you and your budding dancer to help decide which will be the best classes to take for them, and you cannot surpass the friendly, professional, but caring nature of this dance school! You will find that Dance Central becomes like a family - to both you and your young dancer/s. This is the VERY BEST dance school in Toowoomba and there really is no comparison to any other in town in so many ways - EXCELLENT! And then to top it off, not only has your budding dancer had enjoyable year of dance, they get to be a part of one of the most amazing concerts put on by any dance school I have ever seen! And credit to Miss Valette and every single one of the teachers, for the time effort and imagination that goes into producing a true “performance” that your child gets to be a part of each and every year - just like a professional! Dance Central and all your staff - You are truly amazing, and do a wonderful job! And in all honesty, you all probably never get the thanks you deserve often enough for all the time, guidance, knowledge and professionalism you impart on our children! Dance Central does not only provide a warm, fun and nurturing environment, but it welcomes all families with open arms. Our 6 year old daughter loves her ballet, tap and jazz classes. It is a relief to know her dance education is being taught by fully qualified teachers who have an understanding of who so is as an individual, feisty and fun little girl!

Great teachers who are very professional and supportive, amazing and creative shows every year, and Alison is proactively providing the students all possible opportunities otherwise 'the country children' might have missed! My daughter absolutely loves going there and made fantastic friends too! Highly recommended:)
