Daiso Japan reviews
34We were looking for something and couldn't find it on our own, so when we asked the Japanese lady at the store, all she said was, "I don't think it's in our area. It's over there (pointing). " I wish they would have shown me around or told me the location clearly, instead of thinking that I couldn't find it over there and it wasn't here. Even though he is Japanese, he has such a bad attitude. As a fellow Japanese, I am embarrassed. And I was shocked. It may be busy, but the hospitality spirit was zero. Even though I like Daiso itself, I feel bad about it.
Went to the shop to look for nose pads, I asked a staff where can I found it and the staff didn’t bother to find the products for me just said it’s sold out, and they won’t be getting restock until the end of October. I found it fishy so I kept looking, 2 minutes later, found them and they still have plenty in stock. Bad customer service. Been there a couple times before, never saw a single staff smile. They should hire more Japanese staff than those rude @&$#%
Great little variety store.
In Japan this was a ¥100 store. Prices are WAYYYYY higher than a buck here though.
The most terrible customer service I have experienced at this shop (Southport). Staff doesn’t even know how to print a tax invoices. I left without the tax invoice after wasting 15min & left without an apology. Definitely need more training for their staff.
Why does it close so early? Good but limited stock. The Daiso in Singapore is much much better.also Dasio is not so cheap anymore in Australia. The shop closes too early on weekends and most weekdays also.
One Japanese female staff (wearing glasses with black hair and short) her attitude was horrible bad. She even didn’t want to see my eyes and didn’t want me to help.
I went there 14Aug Sunday.
Dear Manager, if you are looking at this comment you should improve your customer service there.
This is the worst Daiso I have been. The attitude of the staff wasn't good at all. Most of them got the long face. Even this is the discount shop from Japan, but the staffs aren't the same.
I love Daiso in Australia Fair, Southport. It's a Japanese version of Crazy Clark's and the Reject Shop. There is an obvious Japanese style to much that is sold here. Great place for a browse or to get a few collectables. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
Love this place, first place I come to find things, great staff & fast checkout, store is always tidy and easy to get around.
I go in for something specific but I always come out with ideas on how to utilise other things in the shop.
I had a conflict with the female staff of this store and I am very exspecfull by her attitude. As usual, when I was paying, the person who serviced me was another male staff. He asked if I needed a bag. I asked him if he had a plastic bag he said no and showed me other more expensive reused bags. I didn't buy those bags and then I saw plastic bags what I wanted at the counter next door. Then a female staff came and i asked her to bought a plastic bag. While i was paying, I friendly asked why the male staff said no plastic bag. Instead of happily talking, I got her response "You got your bag, please leave " as if i was begging her and she was kicking me out. I thought I was misheard and asked her again. Then I asked to meet the manager to talk, she said she is manager. She would call security if I didn't leave. I said i am a customer, but why treat me like that? She said she didn't want to talk with me and I told her to call security come i waited. Security told me she reported that I was yelling. I was wishing that I have record a video. I told the security everything and I do not accept her attitude. Of course they couln’t do anything to me. I did nothing wrong and I would had to leave, there is no reason for me to stay there. But at least i let her know I didn't quiet and let her kick me out. Never had a problem with this shop staff as most of them were very friendly until I met this person. Will never go back.
I really enjoy shopping at Daiso. Friendly staff. Great variety of products, you are able to get almost every small things you need at home here at Daiso. Love this store.
I shop 20.04.20 around 4 30 pm. I bought some items and mis other item and lady at check out was no smile and no good service so cancelled. Most I knew Japanese people is very and respect but this lady far from that
Surprisingly this store stocks alot more variety compared to the ones you'd find in Brisbane. The walking aisles are fairly roomy too, I've found that generally Daisos are heavy on the corridors, this one's not as bad.
The staff at check out is impatient and rude and orragant and no manner.
I shop at 10: 50 23/04/21
Lots of small things, makes you wanna buy the whole lot. I found that the range of toddler bowls, plates, cutlery designes were very cute. Corner racks and shelf/pantry organizersa are really useful. They also have Japanese snacks if you are into them.
Crowded seldomly, nice and friendly staffs. Wide range of cute and interesting stuffs. I went here last xmas holidays to shop some gifts for my friends. Very affordable items!
If you're looking for it, they probably have it, but there's a lot of stuff overpriced in my opinion
Lots of cool Japanese things. Cheap too. Love the travel pillows and Japanese stickers. All the Shiba Inu stuff too.
Always find awesome little gadgets and at $2.80 for most items in store you cannot afford to not shop here! My favourite is the birthday cards and wrapping paper range.
