Crystal Waters Eco Village reviews
32 I drove up from Maleny to visit the market which was amazing
It’s held on the first Saturday of the month from 8 am to 1 pm
Please note that the route via postman ridge road while bitumened is exceptionally steep and narrow and great care should be taken! It does save a few minutes but for many it’s not worth it!
The community is based on permaculture ideas etc! The markets are based on stalls from the community! The wood fired sourdough bakery being a major supplier of goods! Get in early as they may run out! It’s got a rustic feel and there’s not much else around here
Beautiful landscape, fresh air, close to nature, with many wild animals, suitable for stress relief or for couples on special occasions such as wedding anniversary.
Crystal Waters Village is the location for one of Australia's best Permaculture and PDC Permaculture Courses. In such a beautiful hidden valley place only an hour north of Brisbane. Friendly open people, interesting things going on & awesome Aussie wildlife. I'd recommend it any time!
Very Nice and polite Hospitality Extremely Tranquil setting with Everything you need for your family if you don't want to sit on the deck you can go out and sit outside amongst the greenery gardens plus playground for the kids very nice food for the whole family. Here is a panoramic view of the place
Lovely markets. Thought that they may be bigger. The bakery has bread to die for. The New York Rye is just amazing. Numerous coffee stores and some good fruit and veg if you get there early.
What a great place, market was awesome, river is crystal clear, grandkids loved it, wife and I loved it. Great part of the country, well worth exploring.
Absolutely incredible place, with incredible people. I will be definitely visiting in the future and going to the markets again, as they were splendid!
I had an incredible time here and I think you will too!
If you are driving around looking for an authentic cooperative experience in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland then call into the cafe on the deck.
Friendly, nice original stalls, friendly farmers with heaps of insight into the changes of area which was refreshing, lots of vegan foods, great live music.nice ambience. However no swim.wasn't sure where to swim.
On a whole i would definitely go back.camp the night and check out the music
let's send them some rain! !
What a hidden little gem.
If you like a little bit hippie, then this market is for you.
Loved it
Beautiful community where you feel truly welcome.
The camping area have everything you might need and is surrounded by kangaroos.
Such an amazing place, so relaxing, camp kitchen and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. Hosts are lovely people. The area is so peaceful and serene, will certainly be back again!
Walking gently on the earth. Been 20 yrs since I was last there. Very grounding and welcoming. Worth visiting, such welcoming people.
A delightful retreat away from civilization, the beauty of the country we live in is really shown at a place like this. The views and wildlife are amazing so much to see and do, plus a lovely little market on Saturdays are a must. Great people, yummy food and just pure paradise.
Crystal Waters is one of the most beautiful places in Australia! Abundant nature & awesome people
Fantastic place to live full of wildlife cool people music events. Stay at the eco park and book a tour.
Fantastic experience.what a wonderful set up here. Coffe from flowerpot cafe was beautiful and the still warm blueberry muffin was a real treat. Thanks guys!
This place has a huge history and an important legacy. The last couple of times we visited it felt slightly subdued. Although there was not much activity (on an ordinary day), the special tea and handmade cake was brilliant and made up for it. The craft shop also has some interesting items and we bought some lovely handmade postcards.
Would definitely recommend doing a permaculture design course here. Great people and a lovely part of Australia.
I had such a lovely nature vacation at Crystal Waters staying in the communities camp grounds. I spent my time there watching the kangaroos, walking the grounds, having coffee at the coffee shop while journaling and listening to a talk on climate change.
It's also close enough to Maleny to pop over and have a look around the shops or get brunch. I had a wonderful time. Greg manages the camp grounds and was very friendly, helpful and relaxed. Thanks Crystal Waters!
