What an amazing experience. From the moment I walked through the front gate I was greeted by a most pleasant young man with a wealth of knowledge who couldn’t have been more helpful in helping me choose the right hedge plants for my front garden. Such a warm & welcoming environment & such a variety too. I’ve been meaning to visit since moving to the area 3 months ago & I’m glad I now have. Will definitely be back for all my gardening needs. Massive congrats on the best Garden Centre around

The people here were incredibly friendly and helpful, so much that I ended up buying their own premium soil rather than the cheaper version I had come in for! But I shot myself in the foot when I asked them if the soil in Forest Lake was difficult to grow things in - they assured me they had never heard anything of the sort! Turns out it is well known Forest Lake is built on clay and although possible to grow things on, not exactly easy.

Well stocked, had rare cactuses not able to find anywhere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will be visiting again!

I've been shopping at the Crossacres Garden Centre for many years now. They were super helpful when I was first landscaping my yard and over the years have assisted me to keep the garden looking lovely. They are my first stop for sugar cane mulch especially. Their stock is always fresh.
I've found you may pay a dollar or so more for most plants compared to the big green shed, but the plants here survive much better due to being stored and displayed in the open, without shade cloth so they are sun hardy and ready to plant out.
Staff are always friendly.
The recent expansion of the car park is welcome, but also a sign that they've been attracting more customers!
A punnet of pansies I purchased and planted in a pot in 2019 are still growing, reproducing and flowering in autumn 2023! Normally they only last a season

The best selection of palm trees (including Kentia Palms, Bangalow Palms and Alexandra Palms) in Brisbane Metro area. Great advice and service at a good price.

Everyone working today was lovely and the nursery is beautiful. All of the plants looked super healthy, way better than anywhere else I've bought plants. I'll definitely be back here whenever I need anything for the garden

Staff super helpful and friendly, and all plants amazingly healthy.

What a fantastic nursery. Lots of really healthy thriving plants to choose from at fair prices. Col helped me out with a selection of Lilly pillys for a hedge near a new fence. Could have not asked for better service. Thank you. I’ll be back

Nice locally owned little nursery. A good selection of plants for its size and affordably priced. Plenty of plant knowledge if you have any questions!

We have purchased 6 grass trees varying in price from $90-$320. So they are not cheap plants. All trees are healthy with the exception of the $320 tree. We have only had this plant 1-2 months and it is still in the pot, like the others. Contacted nursery for refund and was told IT WAS ALIVE WHEN YOU PUT IT IN YOUR CAR. We were given a guarantee that these trees were harvested probably and were provided tags. But obviously not!

Spectacular customer service, everyone that works here is very knowledgeable and genuine. I didn’t just feel like a customer, I felt like I was apart of something special, where the hopes and dreams I have for my garden and the world I want to live in could come into fruition. The current projects and problems I am working on in my garden made great progress with the expertise and enthusiasm of the team at crossacres. And isn’t that what we are all looking for! Resolution, problem solving and connection with real genuine people? This nursery is the real deal, please go and check it out for yourself and make sure to pick up a few bags of their incredible organic potting mix the “mighty mix”, everything grows so well in it and there is nothing else like it on the market. This is full of life and micronutrients, definitely something special. I look forward to my next visit and am thrilled to have found this wonderful business 10/10.

The nicest staff I’ve ever met. They were able to help me with everything I needed, down to the soil, which plants would grow best and how often to water them. I was told to wait 1-2 weeks to see them start blooming after planting, it’s been 2 days and there’s already so many flowers. The pricing is also very good! Will definitely be returning

This is my favourite nursery to visit. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All the plants I have bought from here have lived. I feel
good support ing our local businesses.

Very friendly, down to earth atmosphere. Sausage sizzle on a Saturday & Sunday is a must try. Healthy looking plants and some gorgeous colour in there too!

Quite expensive place and the plant quality was average at best with many unmarked for colour and price etc.
Lots of fibreglass pots and some terracotto/glazed ceramic again at the higher price point.
Not a particularly impressive place tbh.

I gave 5 stars because the man who owns it is a legend and I loved his nursery. I went last week and was served by a woman who wasn’t very friendly. Searls soil is 20% dearer than Bunnings sell it. The woman told me Searls has just had a price rise. Well Bunnings now has increased from 60ltr $18.95 to 65lt So it’s now cheaper! This centre has 50ltr for $22. Or around that. Outrageous!

Located at the edge of Forest Lake and in the middle of burgeoning residential construction, this nursery and garden centre is a real delight. The quality of the plants is top notch and the friendly, helpful staff are very knowledgeable. True plants people!
