Core Climbing

It has awesome facilities. I had raised an issue we were concerned with, and Core Climbing were so responsive, kind and heartfelt and working to assist us with resolving the issue.

There are many different climbing options from absolute beginner to very challenging courses, and my daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back, with fantastic offers, and very reasonable pricing also!

The facility helps with confidence building as you can try various levels of difficulties at your own pace. It doesn't feel awkward even as a new person there because it seems as though everyone is just focused on what they're trying to achieve. The toilets are clean, opening hours are great so you can stay late, and they have multiple options for snacks/drinks including coffee!

I have been climbing at Core for almost 2 years now, 3 days a week. Its great for new, intermediate and advance climbers. Staff and community are so friendly, its like having a second family.climb setting style is second to none and the non climbing extras (coffee, yoga, slackline) are fantastic too.

Went in to buy a pair of shoes after realising how fun climbing is. Was really looked after by staff which made the experience easy and fun.

Best bouldering gym I've ever been to. The staff and regulars are incredible, and there with two resets per week so you'll struggle to run out of climbs to suit your ability. Great selection of bouldering gear, snacks and drinks if you need them.

If you sign up for a membership, you can bring a friend for free once a month, and their gym in Cornubia is also included. This place is worth every dollar, you'll love it.

Biggest bouldering gym in the area, the team are awesome, great community in the gym, and there are constantly fresh routes.

Pretty inexperienced, and they made it a terrific experience. My first visit - so my next 6 days are free. Can’t wait to go again (once my fingers feel stronger)

Core is the best climbing centre on the coast and it’s not close! Great setting, two new sets a week, super spacious and there’s a slack-line in the gym. Chris is in a perpetual state of froth and Ian is a gentlemen who makes an unmatched cup of tea. The two have made me and many others feel welcomed. I've been to Core a few times now and even tried yoga! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very casual and even the other attendees were really supportive and friendly. Today the place was packed but I didnt have to wait for most walls to be available and if I did it was only moments before I could have a go. Highly recommended!

Ive been to lots of climbing centres and this is by far my favourite. Its suitable for beginners to advanced and all ages. The climbs are constantly changing and there's always a fun, uplifting and positive atmosphere. The staff are genuine, friendly and very helpful, and the owner Ian is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Highly recommended!

Great place to have fun with family, children of all ages, friends no matter what if any climbing experience you have had.

Here they have many different rock climbing climbs to try out from the very beginner like we were to the elite.

One set fee that includes your shoes and you can stay for as long as you like. Let me warn you that you will all have heaps of fun and like us will go back to explore/polish our climbing experience.

Staff there are wonderful to, help with all your questions and for the first times you watch a video regarding some basic rules.

Staff are always friendly and super helpful. A wide variety of climbs from beginner-experienced. Even though it can get busy at times, you can always find a climb to do. If I could give it more stars I would.

Great place for beginners to advanced climbers. Friendly and helpful staff. Myself and the kids are well occupied and exhausted whilst having fun. They are developing strength and flexibility actively solving problems which is great for their development.

Very fun gym to come climb at with some great routes. Staff are very friendly as well making you feel welcome even if you don't climb regularly

Elite tier. I hope they buy out the warehouse next door so they can evolve to S tier. Can never be too many routes.

Edit: Adding to this review after 9 months of every other day visiting. Ian the owner is awesome and very welcoming every time you come in. The route setting is very good. Particularly the last two months has been very impressive from the lads with very few sets feeling dull even after climbing on around 100 sets of problems since I started.

Miss my friends and climbing crew so much. Such a great team always their for those that want a tip or a hand.

Fantastic climbing gym, been to few boulder gyms and this was the best one so far. Very friendly staff, easy backclimbs and overall great atmosphere.

The team at Cole was super friendly and made it easy for our first visit. Not only can you do boulder climbing, but there’s also a slack line to play on and a small gym area out the back. Great for kids seven and over you can even climb solo as you don’t need to partner on the safety line.

Biggest and best gym on the coast, good range of problems for all levels of climbing. Good vibes and good coffee!

Best bouldering gym I’ve ever been to. Super friendly staff. Great climbs that they change regularly. Pilates classes are amazing, splendid teacher. Five stars all the way!
