Copy Inn

I phoned up hoping to get a ball park idea of how much replacing an ink pad might be so I could decide whether to spend the money or replace my printer.

The receptionist kept telling me they don't quote over the phone. Well of course they don't. You can't quote until a repairer looks at the machine. But please just give me an idea so I can make a decision.

Receptionist kept saying she couldn't quote. Duh! Finally got a ball park idea from her. She hung up so fast my head spun. Very abrupt.

I see all these lovely reviews but I found getting a vague idea of total cost of replacing an ink pad really challenging. Clearly if they open it up and more is wrong then I get a proper quote or advice to get a new one and it will cost me $50 for this process as the repairer should get paid for that time spent.

The big question was: Is my printer worth repairing compared to how much it will cost to replace ink pads? Not that hard a question.

This is the first time I used Copy Inn and I found Scott very helpful - he not only fixed my colour printing problem but also cleaned up my scanner and explained in a very practical way how to avoid future problems. My OKI is now running as if it was new again.
