Coorparoo School of Arts and Memorial Hall reviews
9Great space for my son to learn Tae Kwon Do. Easy to get to, parking can sometimes be hard.
This hall is really nice place with clean kitchen, stage and also parking available behind the hall. Nice and friendly committee members, easy to deal with them and really appreciate all the duties they have done on my husband’s surprise birthday party.
It's location is middle of town. It is right solution for community event under 150 people. Stage and kitchen facility is nice.
A beautiful community hall that suits any purpose you can think of - very glad there is a dedicated board to look after this gem.
Amazing open space with kitchen facilities, bright lighting, well-equipped and good ventilation.
I am reluctant to give a review as I will be using the Hall in future and I don't want it booked out. Everything from the booking, which I changed twice for covid, to the Hall itself was great. I had my birthday there on the worst night of the recent flood and it was still great.
Great little hall in a good location w lots of on street parking. Well run and clean. You are allowed to byo as some halls do not allow alcohol. This hall you can pretty much do and bring anything u like except helium balloons and no smoking- which makes prefect sense. The hall has ceiling fans and louvers on both side of the building. The kitchen is fully functioning and clean and they supply all the cleaning equipment for you to tidy up after- so need for you to bring brooms and mops etc. Also loads of tables and chairs are included in the hire price of the hall.
The only down sides I would say is no air con and sound (acoustics) are not the best, however the facilities and price make up for it.
All that we needed for our quiz and talent night. Heaps of seating and tables. The Committee were all very helpful and appreciated our using the hall.
Recently held a combined 50th Birthday Party (4 of us celebrating), & hired the Hall on the 23rd March. Excellent sized hall with all the usual amenities at hand. Set back from Cavendish Rd really helped with car noise etc from the road, and the surrounds have plenty of trees and grassed areas.
We had a decent turnout, 8 live bands and not a problem.
My only concern was the heat inside. The ceiling is very high, as are the fans (no air-conditioning), so no real benefit was available, mist of the party occurred outside.
I guess it didn't help that day was so hot I think it officially "broke" Summer! The cooler months will be perfect, and though a bit dated, the hire cost was most reasonable.
