Compton Mediclinic reviews
14 We saw Dr Song today for a clearance for my daughter and he was so lovely and caring.
Thank you so much!
The worst clinic ever, called to make appointment and receptionist asked me if l have flue like symptoms l said no. She booked me in, went for my appointment and receptionist said l can't see a doctor because l don't have a mask. I was in so much pain, and she cancelled my appointment due to not having mask. The stuff at this clinic are so unprofessional and rude. Hope karma comes her way.
Receptionist is very helpful and went out of her way to try to fit me in. Thank you Karen. Have never had any issue with the other Receptionist. They are all good.
The Doctor is wonderful too. Very welcoming and great atmosphere when your get there.
Dr Zohra Ismail is very lovely, experienced and a great GP for us. She's booked out for ages for a reason.
Receptionist with blonde short hair is really snarky and condescending. She talks down to you like she is a know-it-all. I hope she works on her customer service abilities as they are very much lacking. Disappointed, as I was a prospective new patient and I walked out due to her lack of customer care and empathy - I would rather give my time/money to a clinic with staff that are kind and passionate about the work that they do.
Incompetent receptionist, pretty face but no brain. Miss Lee is so unorganized. When you come without appointment even if noone is there and 2 doctors are working, you wont be looked after nor can u ask any questions
Than you book an apointmet the next day and you have to wait 2h although you come on time and all. Ridiculous, arogant and incompetent, i wont go there ever again.
DOCTOR DANIEL VARMA
I was diagnosed with overactive thyroid and my 2 previous GP wouldn't care much, I visited Dr Daniel Varma by chance at this practice. His caring and professional manner and efforts was wonderful as he contacted PA Hospital and directly asked the endocrinologist to see me soon, finally I was treated at PA Hostpital. Dr Daniel Varma is very caring, compassionate and professional. Thank you very much. With best regards
Honestly very bad service, they shouldn’t call them selves doctors it’s just business they not there to help you we helping them by going there that’s why never again
Been going there for 5-6 years. Dr Ismail is the best even though she is running late most of the time. However she is worth waiting for, so if you would rather punctuality over seeing the best doctor ever then your loss. Can't speak highly enough of this Medical Centre.

I worked all day unloading containers doing lifting. I also study full time in a civil engineering degree. I visited Compton MediClinic after work. A few days prior my girlfriend was really sick with a terrible cold and was coughing all night which was keeping me awake. At the time I was not feeling sick so i drove to one of the very few 24 hour pharmacies in Brisbane to get strong medications such as Nurofen with Pseudoephedrine and Robitussin with dextromethorphan to help ease my partners symptoms, feel better and potentially get some proper sleep. As is well known you can only purchase one box of Pseudoephedrine on your drivers licence per week for good reasons. After getting these medications for my girlfriend I went to work to unload the shipping container doing heavy lifting and ended up with a really bad cough, sinus congestion, and a sore throat that is still sore to this day. I called a family member while at lunch to book me a doctors appointment as i felt absolutely terrible. I was booked into Compton Mediclinic. Upon arriving I asked if i could have a script for Pseudoephedrine and a low dose of codeine to help with the sneezing, congestion, coughing and sore throat, as the next day I had to attended fourth year civil engineering tutorials that are not recorded and I needed to be able to focus. In a class room people would rather not sit next to someone who is constantly sneezing and coughing. I explained all this to the doctor and simply got told to take some vitamin C and wrote me a script for Codral Relief Cold & Flu + Decongestant 500mg;5mg Tablet. We all know you can get paracetamol plus phenylephrine at woolies for a couple of dollars. If I was foolish enough to fill that script I would have payed a lot more for fancy paracetamol, as most clinical evidence suggest phenylephrine does not out perform placebo in clinical trials. I simply needed to attend my studies with a clear head and not be coughing and sneezing distracting all the other students.
Nice enough staff but on the 2 occasions I visited, they were way behind time. On the first occasion I rang about 15 mins before my scheduled appointment to ask if they were running on time. I was told yes so arrived 5 minutes before only to have to wait another 35 minutes to see the doctor. The second visit I watched people who arrived after me go in before me. I won't be going back.
