Great coffee. I had mine with oat milk and it worked beautifully with it. Great surf vibe, staff super friendly and the apple slice was sweet and tasted like something home made from Gran, which is a good thing!

Great coffee, I like their blend which is more chocolate and less fruity. Cool shop with clothing and coffee to buy too

The drinks were incredible and with a very little wait time! People are nice along with the whole experience and i would definitely come back here

Great coffee - the oat cap was perfection. Friendly staff. Very cool vibe and unique collection of clothing and eco-centric homewares. Really enjoyed shopping and sipping my coffee here.

The food was mediocre and management poor. Poor customer service. They dont deserve the ratings they currently have. Another fad cafe to be replaced with hopefully a kinder manager and better food. Coffee was decent though

The coffee is ok, but not worth the hype. We ordered a croissant to go with our coffees and it was not fresh, so we brought it back to the counter to swap it out for something fresh. We even offered to pay the difference but management was rude. The manager said "well everyone else doesn't have an issue with it, so if you want something else, you'll have to pay for it. " Not the type of place I'd recommend to someone visiting Coolum. Dissatisfied and disappointed with how staff handled everything.

The BEST coffee in Coolum! I was so sad to find this spot on the second last day of our two week stay in Coolum. The coffee was incredible. Very consistent over the several cups I had while there. Staff were ridiculously friendly. Won’t be going anywhere else next time i visit.

One of my favourite coffee spots on the Sunshine Coast! Cool atmosphere, friendly staff and great coffee. I also like that they have a cabinet full of raw goodies, nice to see a cafe with light and healthy options. Only wish they stayed open a little later than 12pm!

My partner and I went there for Coffee and was fantastic. The service was spot on and they even advised us where to go for lunch. We both had coconut latte. They have natural sugar options like Honey and raw sugar. The environment was packed but not crowded.

Best coffee in Coolum! Very consistent and a lovely spot to sit inside in the aircon in Summer.

Just back from a group coffee here, and every single one of us - whose coffee tastes differ immensely - said that was the best coffee we’ve had in a very long time. We ride/coffee together regularly, if there was another star to give, you’d have it, thank you!

The staff were lovely, the shop is fab and has indoor and outdoor seating.

The coffees are just next level.between us we had piccolos, flat whites, soy flat whites, weak lattes and hot chocolates. We’re so impressed that everyone of us loved our drink. Nice work

Thank you Compound Coffee for being open on Christmas Day to cater to all of us needing caffeine to deal with very excited kids and rellies. You're the heroes we need supporting Santa in keeping the Christmas Spirit (and energy) alive!

They always have great coffee and I’d like to give a 5 star but, they like to close shop right on 12, right on everyone’s lunch break on the weekends. We work in the hospitality industry here and there are a lot of hotels that also have their lunch around 12. It just doesn’t make sense. Then other times of the year they close on Sunday’s, isn’t that when most people want a coffee?

I’m in love with everything about Compound. Groovy humans serving exceptional coffee.

Compound is simply the best spot in Coolum for all your coffee needs. Not only that but they offer organic chai which is amazing on oat or almond milk.

Unhygienic. Staff blatantly choosing not to wear face masks, few patrons were either. Food sitting on a tray on the counter where staff and customers breathing all over it. Nobody checking vaccination status. Plus a ridiculous wait for coffee. The place to come if you want COVID for Christmas

Update re: response from owner - all 3 staff at the counter were wearing face masks hanging under their chin, not covering their mouth or nose at all - may as well not bother. Also if you are only takeaway and a retail venue as you claim (I saw people sitting down and eating), masks are required for indoor retail. Yes it’s my choice to come in and with a response like that, I wont be coming back. Instead of abusing customers who are trying to do the right thing, do better.

After lots of poor coffees at 5 star cafes I was shocked to find this coffee better than most in the cafe-saturated Brisbane area. Just a shame to find it on our last day.

The coffee was okay - not 4.8* … a solid 3.5*
This coffee shop wasn’t for me; it may not be for you if you like a large coffee or if you understand that raw sugar is still sugar, and not an alternative to sugar.
Not diabetic friendly.
