Comfort Zone Insulation

At the end of July 2023, my daughter and I had our 1980s home insulated with the pump-in cellulose fibre as the roof is low profile. Since then, the difference in temperatures within the home has been amazing, resulting in bare minimal use of the air conditioner even on the stinking hot days. We are very impressed with the results.

Peter did us a solid by repairing our cracked roof tiles at 6pm, after our ceiling started leaking. Very professional and knowledgeable. Will be looking to him for a quote on roof insulation when we renovate in the near future.

I highly recommend Peter and his team. I started with getting the roof insulated in my Queenslander that is over 100 years old. When they arrived, Peter checked the roof and told me it was actually already insulated (and showed photos of the high quality wool batts they found) but he luckily (being thorough) found that one section of the roof had been overlooked in the past. So they did that bit. Immediately there was a huge difference in that room, by about 4 degrees. They came back to do the floor and it added another 3 degrees. I am particularly aware because I have a small baby so I have thermometers in most rooms to make sure it’s warm enough (it’s winter right now). The whole house stays warmer and a more constant temperature.

Sometimes it’s 7 degrees warmer than outside, so a massive difference. I appreciate Peter’s honesty, he always showed pictures before and after, and made it as economical and straightforward as possible. The house is much more comfortable as a result and I think summer will be much more comfortable too.

This company is a must go to for all your insulation needs. My air conditioners at home were struggling to work properly and couldn't keep up with the heat getting inside. Once the new blow-in insulation was put in I noticed a huge difference inside the house, it normally would heat up like a sauna by 9am but instead it kept me from turning the air conditioner on until 2pm! The installers were prompt to give me a quote and were very professional on the day. They did a quality job and didn't take any short cuts like alot of the other tradies these days. I highly recommend this company and wouldn't go elsewhere, thanks guys!

Eli and Bailey arrived in good time and set about installing the ceiling insulation.
They were very polite and friendly, efficient and tidy. The product didn’t take too long to be pumped into the roof and there was very little mess afterwards.
Eli invited me to take a look in the roof space to see what had been done. He is very well informed and knowledgeable about the insulation material and installation. He gave me pictures of the completed job and explained thoroughly the benefits of cellulose compared with other types of materials
I was very happy with the job they did and would recommend Comfort Zone to anyone considering insulation in their roof.

Very friendly receptionist who took the time to do up a quote for me in a very short amount of time, and was very professional over the phone. I made a mistake in assessing my need for insulation (turns out my builder has put in reflective wrap) however Fiona was very understanding. They seem to be very thorough and are quick to respond to calls for service.

UPDATE: More than six months on and ended up getting insulation in the external walls from these guys back in August 2018. Awesome job, very neat, and the insulation has done an excellent job of helping keep the house comfy all the time so far. Would highly recommend them and also recommend getting insulation in your walls!

Terrific job of cellulose insulation in my roof. The quote was quick and the job followed soon after. I had to be away at the end of the job and Peter personally inspected the work, explained what had been done and sent me a copy of the video of his inspection. Excellent work and a company and individual that I highly recommend.

I am so very happy with my insulation job yesterday. Its 33degs already and I havnt even got a fan on yet in my house this morning, so job well done. Great investment
