Come and Cook reviews
34My son loves going to Come and Cook every school holidays with Karen. On the way home from a session, he's already asking when the next one is and if I can book him in.
My kids have been going to Come and Cook classes for a few years. They have a really good time. The classes are very hands-on and the kids get to do a lot individually and bring home lots of goodies they are proud to have made. Karen teaches them lots of useful skills.
My 13 year old daughter loves going to her lunch club every week! She learns so much and the variety of recipes and foods they create are amazing! Thankyou so much Karen for a wonderful experience for her!
Karen’s classes and workshops are amazing! My kids love cooking with her. She has turned my fussy Eater (Mr. 9) into a foodie who is now willing to give new tastes a go. She provides lessons that are fun, engaging and full of variety. Can highly recommend Come and Cook!
Wonderful activity for young kids my daughter loved it!
Lovely location in residential home.
Karen is great with the kids.
And they make delicious things!
Will definitely book again.
My daughter started this cooking class with Karen and little was expected to come of this BUT it has been very rewarding and a surprise in my daugther's confidence in the kitchen.
This confidence in the kitchen has also helped with shopping for the right ingredients for cooking at home and wanting to create more in the kitchen.
The atmosphere in class in conducive to learning and enjoyable to the students involved.
Highly recommend Karen at Come and Cook for your child or teen to develop their skills in cooking and in the kitchen while having a fun time doing so.
My daughter loves her cooking classes. She now helps prepare meals and even corrects me how to use a knife properly. The meals she learns to cook are delish. Our whole family look forward to the cooking she brings home, especially desert.
Three of my grandchildren one a nine year old girl and two who are 9 year old boys have been to Karen's "Come and Cook" classes.
They have all really enjoyed the classes and have been keen to try the recipes again and Karen always sends the children home with copies so that they can cook at home.
I think that it is very important today that boys and girls both learn to cook and realise that you can eat a healthy meal which can be easily prepared as in the future they can look after themselves properly without having to resort to takeaway or packaged foods.
I thoroughly recommend Karen's cooking school as she is very keen, caring and professional so that the children love her classes and want to return for more.
Karen from Come and Cook is brilliant. My son Ben (who is on the spectrum) loves his weekly cooking classes and holiday workshops. He has learnt so much about the kitchen, cooking and importance of food. Ben is a very fussy eater but he will usually eat every meal he makes when he comes home from classes. I love the classes as I get a break for 1 and a half hours and the bonus is that Ben comes home with Dinner already done every Thursday Night. Great classes, great learnings, great teacher.
Karen is amazing. So well organised, extremely patient and comes up with delicious creations. The boys like being the first ones to try new recipies each week.
Karen is inspiring and so wonderful with children. My granddaughter is a fussy eater but is overcoming that now thanks to Karen
My 8 year old son has attended two holiday classes with Karen and loved every minute of them. He has cooked the fruit crumble muffins several times since and even entered them into the Brookfield show this year where he placed second. We will certainly be back next holidays.
Our 7 year old son loves joining Karen and the small group of children at 'Come and Cook' for his weekly lesson. Every week he's so excited to eat the delicious food he has made and chat about what he did in the class!
We are all learning new things every week. Thanks Karen.
My son LOVES coming to “Come and Cook” on the school holidays. He has learned how to cook many fabulous dishes from scratch, he has become more confident in the kitchen and he has been taught skills that he will use for the rest of his life. Karen is both kind and patient with her students.
