Coastal Dental Care Redland Bay

I went to dentist with a very bad tooth ache, suspected root canal needed. Saw a different dentist who took X-ray's and told me it was my jaw, go home take tablets.
Next day extreme pain, went back and see different dentist who confirmed I needed a root canal. 24 hours if extreme pain for nothing!

Absolutely awesome! Whoever says that about a dentist? Dr Chopra and her assistant looked after my 8 yo daughter better than I could have hoped! The dental work was of excellent standard, the pain relief was administered perfectly - not just adequate dosing, but done in a beautiful choreography that ensured my 8yo never saw the massive steel syringe that was about to go into her gum, and sequenced with topical anaesthetic so well that she didn’t even feel the needle - not a single squirm or murmur to indicate she felt any pain at all during injection, drilling or filling. Beyond that, the team treated my daughter with total respect - providing full explanations so she knew what to expect, tailored to my daughter’s responses (no patronising, no talking over her head to me), with honest and genuine praise at how well she went through every stage of the 1hr procedure… making her so comfortable that my daughter even told a joke between the filling and final cleaning.
This was our first visit to Coastal Dental, and to be fair, it was a test to see how well they did so I could determine if Coastal would be suitable for my entire family - I am very pleased to say we have found our ‘family dentist’:) Not only am I happy to trust them with my loved ones, but I thoroughly recommend Coastal, and Dr Sonal Chopra in particular, to everyone seeking an excellent dentist with impeccable standards in work and cleanliness, and the most delightful and reassuring bedside manner.

Ankit and his team are second to none. Calm, precise and personable. He catered a care plan to what is most important and what I could afford. And no gap cleans and checkups every 6 months is just awesome to help keep on top of what’s happening. So relieved to have sound a great dental team.

Today's procedure was explained thoroughly prior to commencement and at each step.
The dentist and dental assistant made sure I was comfortable throughout.
Follow up was offered should I experience any issues following today's procedure.

My daughter and I had our 6 month check up’s today and last week the professionalism and kindness shown are amazing. One happy lady with perfect teeth and knowledge of how to keep her teeth healthy. Had an amazing experience today at coastal dental redland bay. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and introduced to the reception staff. I have had a fear of dentists for over 15 years and I can honestly say I'm looking forward to going back. Dr Noopur Sharma was absolutely incredible and made me feel so at ease. Thank you to everyone that made my first experience back at the dentist after 11 years and absolute delight.

Love this place. The staff are beautiful.
Their patience and kindness with my ASD children is so appreciated and makes for much easier visits.

what you have done for me.
I came in with abcess I just wanted all of my top teeth out. For more than 21 years I wouldnt smile, I mumbled and I was concious of spitting on people every time I spoke.
I damaged my top teeth from an Industrial accident and never got them fixed.
During my first visit Dr Taf was such a pleasure to make me feel at ease and gave me options on what to do.
My next visit it all happened and wow Iam so so happy l cant stop smiling and I have kept most of my teeth

Wouldn't go anywhere else. The 1 hour travel to Redland Bay is 100% worth it every visit - Thank you to Dr Ankit, and the rest of the Staff there for always being so great!

I really cannot praise Dr. Ankit Wadhawan and the Coastal Dental crew enough. I had massive anxieties about going to the dentist and hadn’t been in 10+ years. After a debilitating toothache, it was unavoidable.
I was reassured after just 5 minutes of talking (and crying) to Dr. Wadhawan. He made me feel so comfortable and I’ve even been back twice to repair what I’ve neglected for years.
