The sales guy showed me all the beds available, as I have bad back and need a hard bed, impossible to find in Australia. Finally, after much searching, he suggests I buy 2 bits of foam, $25 bucks each from bargin bin. Brilliant! Thx sir, you are old school, awesome.

My partner and I were looking for a mattress for our van. Kaylene served us at Capalaba store and was friendly and very helpful. She explained all the options in detail and was able to answer any questions we had. Great customer service.

Rude customer service.
Was looking in the foam area at the general offcuts and smaller cuts of the high density foam. After being told the HDF was not an offcut, we asked for him to price it as it was small. 40cmx40cm approx offcut piece that appeared alike an offcut and was told it's $38.

The price is the price, fair enough, Obviously a little shocked for this tiny piece. Overall, service was blunt, no solutions to other options, no alternative products, no questions on intended use, nothing more.

I don't think we'd be back to this store whenever we drive through Capalaba. We did get asked by another attendant if we needed help as we exited.a little late. Hopefully they provide better service to their patrons next year! Happy New Year

My experience: I bought a $209 3 fold mattress in August.already disappointed because of the cheaper misleading web prices but overall ok back then. I was told it was the same as the regular every day mattress but can be folded. The foam is identical as the numbers say, so I used it everyday. I was told that if there was a dip I could fit my palm into within a year I get a refund.
JUNE 2020: The mattress has become a pain, so I sleep on the side of the bed so my hips don't sink down in the middle. I put my palm in the dip. It fits. I take it in to claim a replacement or a refund. I'm told they can't refund because the supplier holds the warranty which is ridiculous. I should be able to get a refund from where I bought the mattress and if the supplier supplies faulty mattresses, stop working with them. They test with the ruler and say the dip needs to be 2.5cm deep (whole hand width) with no force (NOT SAID BEFORE). The mattress bounces back well even though it's weak with pressure, so it failed that test. They call the supplier and they don't refund it. So when I try to get a refund still, he makes it seem like I'm taking out of his pocket. I'm told it's not for everyday (NOT SAID BEFORE) (also $209 for mattress that doesn't last 365 nights?). I say I wasn't told that and that's it's the same type of foam. He denies. So I show him the exact same specifications of the foam in store. He asks me what my point is. I'm told the business was sold in December (not my problem), and that they aren't taking any responsibility for what was promised before (UNFAIR TO THE CUSTOMER). He still doesn't think a refund is fair so he offered ½ price. I decline, twice now. In the end he tells me to take a new one (just to get me out of the store) and he processes it for free with no warranty. But now I don't want it because it's a $209 mattress that doesn't last 365 nights! I take it anyway because he seemed close to the edge and unreasonable and I had already spent long enough to get to that point.

P. S. I would have given 2 stars for that but the rating on this place is too high from reviews from the old management so I felt the need to bring it down another star for the average.

4 stars for range. 1 star for customer service. Middle age lady behind the counter spent more time yelling at people that they could not cut any foam today as they were one person down. Pathetic behavior!

I don't remember a time that they haven't had what I want, from foam to fix up old desk chairs, vinyl & foam to reupholster car door trims, dog bed foam squares, rubber plugs, mats, marine carpet and garage door weather strips I think I have gotten something from just about every section of their range and they are always happy to help here at Capalaba

Yesterday I visited the Capalaba store wanting to purchase foam. Upon entry there was no one at the front desk so I proceeded to the foam cutting area where a woman named Carole was cutting foam. I said “good morning” to which she replied “I’m busy cutting foam for those people”. I was taken aback and asked for her name and told her she was very rude. I was shaken by the experience and will not be returning to this store!

I placed and order for special cut foam, received sponge. Was then told no refunds, no returns. There is a difference between the two and if you people do not know it close your doors.

Customer service here was terrible. I went to ask some questions about some foam for a custom mattress and I just got short and sharp responses that seemed like he didn’t care to help me. I decided to walk out because of his attitude. When I visited Clark rubber cairns the service was amazing and I was expecting the same here.

Next time you sell plastic 30x30 end caps to a customer make sure its the right thing that they ask for. 2mm makes a huge difference when fitting into a tube. Your mistake has cost me time and money and not to mention having my wife drive over 100km for nothing. Also no offer for compensation for your mistake, thats BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Maybe I'll have to visit when this Neil is on. Worst customer service today. Totally ignored for 15mins after I entered the store. So I tried to work out what I needed. I had to ask for service, otherwise the staff was again going to walk straight passed me. Spoken to like I was stupid for asking certain questions.
Products with no pricing.
Very hot store. No cooling.
