City Beach

It says on my receipt I checked out with Shae, i was so polite and nice to her and she was so rude and off putting she didn’t even smile at me once, hardly even looked at me. When she was finished checking me out instead of saying “thankyou”she said “there ya go, see you later” what kind of customer service is that? After I just spent money at your store. I would go and return the stuff i bought but honestly way too uncomfortable to go back in the store.

Okay so I admit I was doing the wrong thing I did have a puff of my vape in the store, an employee did witness me do it but the way this employee spoke to me was absolutely disgusting. The words spoken and I quote were “I just seen you vape you need to get out”. I then stood there to just quickly look at a dress and then he continued to say “get out”. I found this absolutely disgusting I yes did the wrong this but no way was there any need for the attitude or tone In this man’s voice.

What you'd really expect from a city beach, and they get the 2 stars for for the store being layed out better than most, but they lost the other stars due to one extremely rude staff member, I don't think I'd ever waist my money in a store who hired a woman like that!

Great shop, friendly helpful staff. Great product's, only downside that half the staff had no masks on, which I thought was still mandatory for south East Queensland. Not very covid safe.

Been here a couple of times. Enjoy the products but not all the prices though the prices are what you would expect for the items sold here. Great selection of hats.good selection of shoes. Heaps of clothes. I always find the layout a little tricky to navigate. Tight walkways between products, often squeeze close by others on the store. Last time the shoe trying area was also the walkway from the register and people were always in each other's way. Found a staff member fairly easily. Overall good shop with good products.

As a country boy I can honestly say I stuck out like a sore thumb but the young fella in the shoes area came straight over and helped explain what the difference between the shoes were for my daughter for school and helped her choose a great pair.
Good prices also but the young lady at the till could learn a bit of customer service. That would have made it a 5 Star.

Good layout and wide range of products. Quite good deals available and spacious and easy to browse store. If you like to be left alone and browse until you need help - good service. If you like someone to notice and guide you straight away - you won't enjoy their service.

Sorry but we were very disappointed by the lack of care in this store. No social distancing in place by staff, store was packed all bumping into each other. For such a popular store it seems only the customers sales, where the main care in this store.

Disorganised, rude and unskilled in retail. Get your correct price tags on your items. Might minimise the amount of time you waste for your customers!
