I had my second appointment last night with Effie for a colour and cut. Once again, she did not disappoint, the results were amazing!
Very happy with the expert service and value for money. This is definitely my salon of choice!

Effie is a hair genius. So grateful to have found a place that listens and has expertise to deliver, so happy with my blonde. I thought that the prices were super reasonable and Effie and Casey has great chat to get through a full head of foils type of job.

Great Salon. Charlie really cares about her cusromers and their experiance. My hairdresser Casey is the bomb! She's fun and honestly is a hair mind reading Wizard. So thankful to have her in my life!

When I visited this salon for the first and last time, I asked Casey for blonde foils and I came out with brown hair. Casey was very apologetic, attempted to fix the colour and then told me that if I wasn't happy, I could return within 2 weeks and she would gladly fix it free of charge. I tried but couldn't get used to my newly brown hair, so 9 days later I rang the salon and asked for an appointment to rectify my hair colour. Casey told me that she would have to charge me. I reminded her that I came in with blonde hair, left with brown hair and that she said that she would fix the colour free of charge if I returned within 2 weeks. She said OK and told me that she would need to check the appointment book, but she sounded irritated. As I waited on the phone, I overheard Casey say, "I've got a crazy client who wants to come back in. That hasn't happened for a while. " When Casey returned to the phone, I told her what I'd heard her say and there was a long silence on the other end of the phone. I finally broke the silence by telling her that I no longer needed an appointment and I ended the call. I then received a phone call from the salon owner Charlie who said that she was standing right next to Casey during her phone call with me and she didn't hear Casey say anything about a crazy client. After my phone convo with the owner ended, I posted this review. Shortly after, I received a long, apologetic text message from Charlie saying that she lied to me about not having heard what Casey said because she felt she had to support her employee ; she also said that my review would hurt her business, that Casey was "very upset" and that the salon would gladly rectify my hair colour free of charge. Given that their distress only materialised after my review hit the interweb, I thanked Charlie, politely declined her offer and found another hair salon. The new salon promptly rectified my hair colour with professionalism and without a side serving of drama.

Just has to be the best and most reasonably priced hairdresser in West End! Great styling, quality hairdressing, fabulous! Highly recommended!

Can’t recommend enough! The ladies were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and worked with me to create a super siiick hairstyle! Perfect for a badass night on the town. Go to Charliez and get a dragon braid! Will definitely be coming back for more hair shenanigans

Casey just gave me the best haircut I've ever had. I showed her a photo of myself with a good cut. She copied my complicated cut exactly and we made a few little changes which improved the style. She also styled it exactly how I like. Friendly, funny and fast. Fantastic!

This was my first visit to Charlie’z as I’ve recently moved into the area. It was a great experience, the staff were lovely and helpful. My stylist Ovi did an amazing job on my hair colour and style cut, I’m very happy with the results and will definitely be coming back for future visits. Thanks so much.

I have been attending Charliez hair and beauty for 8 years. The atmosphere of the saloon is always happy, chilled and professional. I have had my hair done in many different styles and colours and have always been very happy with the service. All of the ladies in the saloon have become friends.

Love, love, love Charliez. I have never had a bad experience there. You just get taken care of from the moment you walk through the door till the moment you leave. I've never had a head massage during a shampoo anywhere else like it. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love Charliez, the stylists are so friendly and I always walk out of the salon with the exact look I wanted.

Very considerate of my needs also with offering a power point for me to work on my laptop, a spare mask when I forgot mine and a glass of champagne on my birthday.
