They wont ring you. They don't even believe in "external phone calls"? What's that about? Avoid, avoid, avoid! Shiny shopfront, flashy website, hipster image belies the grubbiness and nastiness of the second hand industry. Truly you are swimming with sharks. Don't stick your toe in the water with CeX.

Once again staff came through with their advice and time a BIG THANK YOU store is smaller but the service and staff are always friendly best on the north side

Always had a good experience here but my last visit was amazing. The team took a PS4 back, tested it promptly (which ultimately had a corrupt HDD) & replaced it. Made a frustrating day or two prior to a top quality experience. Thanks again

Left a phone and laptop there to trade on tablet, returned and they told me they not want so returned to me but the back protector for the phone was missing I said ok reimburse me but they said no so don't trust this place they are liars and thieves.

A great place to trade in your old DVDs. Blu-rays and ultra 4K movies also has a collection of tech for sale. Second hand great place to visit

A gem of a place that is worth visiting. I was looking for DVDs and they have a huge range of 2nd hand DVDs and a good selection of blue ray movies and games. The prices are very reasonable on DVDs, $1.00 to $8.00 and blue rays are more expensive. The staff are friendly and helpful. Weekdays are best as weekends can be super busy. I am very happy with my purchases and would highly recommend a visit.

Great value for money on 2nd hand games and DVDs they also buy and sell other small electronic items like mobile phones and tables

I purchase most of my console games here. Much better prices than at EB. I have also sold some of my tech items here. Great service and great website / app.

Hello My name is Graham and l have been dealing with CEX since U open your shop at Garden City....I have been a Teck person for your company as well...Now l have gone to the Garden City shop to sell things and when U question them about a price that says One price on your website but when you go to them....That's not the price all that they give U at the shop... That's not right when they say that it's meant to have this and that but it's not specified on your website....So why do I cop the s*** from your staff and then get treated like s*** because they don't want to deal with it....The when l ask them to email head Office they don't...That is not fair and then today the manager turns around and says....I'm not dealing with you I want to talk to you.... I've done nothing wrong and all I get is treated like crap... It does not specify that the controller has to be the same colour as the gaming console...l have a 7 year old that were devastate.....Make sure that the website actually specifies what U need....My kids got ripped off by uses the other day as it said one price and then when U go in there it is never the price that's on your site....This is not the first time....Dose company realised that's false advertising and you can be done for it....I have cancer and am dying from it...So l do not need the stress from your staff....They should just Email to head office as l asked...Thank U...

Bought a iPhone from these guys and it started to have some problems a few months later. Took it in and they swapped it for another one straight away. Wasn’t in there for more then 10 minutes. Super apologetic for the trouble and we’re really helpful

I bought a movie from CEX at Strathpine on Monday. Their policy is to make sure that their movies are in proper woking condition…. Well apparently not because they sold me a movie with Disc Rot making it unplayable. On top of this i tried calling their number and it doesn’t work anymore. Some of us don’t have time to come all the way to Strathpine just for you to refuse a refund (as i read in another review) I’d even just be happy with a movie swap of the same price.

Very unprofessional tricky people about selling phones. My mom went to sell her phone and they said she can get $145 and mom had no problem with her phone and they go and do a quick test and come up saying the ringer button was damaged which was a total lie because went to repair shops to ask to fix and they said there’s no problem with it. Also they made another lie saying they never removed SIM card when they did because was showing no service instead of showing 4G and I had to get the SIM card out and back in because they didn’t even know how to put it back properly. Due to the lie of ringtone button they said they can only give $30 for phone

Always can find a great move at a rental price ha the best thing is you don't have to return it. Unless you to swap for another plus a small extra fee but beats rentals.

Cex Strathpine - Worst service I’ve ever received, extremely rude, zero care-factor and an overall embarrassing look for the entire company from one employee - shoutout to the guy who clearly lost the passion for life years ago and has made it everyone else’s problem definitely shouldn’t be working in a customer facing role my man

This shop is utter trash they sell dodgy stolen phones that do not even turn on they do not do refunds and customer service i received was terrible from a young lady behind the counter she was very smug and rude complete trash will not be visiting or buying anything from this store and neither should you good riddens doesn't even deserve one star.

Went to sell an LTE galaxy 4 watch here and was offered a measly $130 for a $600 watch which they, and they know this for a fact, could easily have resold it within a week at around $420 - $450.

I'm not not what kind of profit margins these guys expect unless your clientele are selling their goods for sinister purposes and "desperately" need the money.

Even worse than a pawn shop for selling items and I do not recommend them for selling goods over any pawn shop. I never sell items but I had battery issues on my watch and just gave it a go.

Use marketplace or a pawn shop. Plenty of online retailers offering far better deals on second hand technology. Overpriced and underpaying on valuable items.
