Cleveland office has a new looking, modern and open plan design. Plenty of staff and ahead of time with appointments. Pleasant and easy to talk to staff.

I can’t thank Sharlene enough for her help. New exactly what to do to fix my issue. I walked out in 30 mins with a smile.

Very disappointing for a government agency to offer such a poor service. Not only was I provided wrong information (even after correcting them from what medicare had told me over the phone), but the staff were also very rude. I guess they forget it is the tax payers who are employing them. I would suggest the staff are provided additional training, both from a technical nature and in terms of customer service. I ended up solving my situation through online means and phone calls. Very concerning when staff don't understand the rules (or can at least access the information) to help those who come to see them for support.

As per any centerlink, none of the staff have any communication skills and are bad at changing their tone, and all look and act like they hate their job, teach there to fake it to make it or hire better staff

I was there highly pregnant 3,5 hours filling out form for maternity leave. When ever I asked for help, they told me to wait. So I was very uncomfortable sitting behind computer just because they haven't give me all those CRN and other numbers. Personnel was highly unfriendly.

Worst IVR ever 132717 number provided engaged tone tried other contact medium absolutely hopeless no wonder spending money trying to tell these clowns how to use communication skills. Should be on the other side of the counter

I recently had a difficult and frustrating time between Centrelink and the Public Trustee over a pension payment that went to the PT that should have come to myself for my wife. One department gave me one version of what needed to be done and the other department was telling me the opposite to get a resolution. However, after much back and forth discussion I would like to thank Sharon and a couple of her staff members at Cleveland Centrelink for their consideration and help in eventually getting a satisfactory result on this matter for us.

Called Centrelink, to solve problem. Was told to go to Centrelink office. I went there, and waited over 1 hour, only to be called that they could not help me, that I had to call Centrelink! And this is not the first time either. I realise they are short staffed, but at least give us correct information please, and save us time.

Waited 1 hr to be seen for Medicare form. People went to see staff members that came after me and when asked why I was a long appt. To drop in form and ask one question. Lots of staff standing around doing nothing. Worst Medicare office in Aust.
