Can you please provide me with the necessary paperwork for patients entering residential care re: assets assessment? Centre link are telling our families they can provide an estimated fee within 7-10 days or on the day. As Social Workers from hospitals this is becoming frustrating and holding up the discharge process for patients entering residential care, also taking up beds which are desperately needed for palliative care patients.
Thank you, much appreciated.

My wife and I had issues linking to the digital system and the staff were friendly and very patient. Zowie who assisted us spent so much time ensuring that everything was working even though she had to do many steps a few times, as the system get throwing us out. So nice to have someone follow through and not give up, especially with older people and technology.

The premises are very nice and a pleasure to go in to see them. Just remember to book an appointment.

The Wynnum branch is the absolute worst for customer service, empathy, assistance and care.
The security guards provide better service, and they're born overseas!
I suspect it's a deliberate passive-aggressive strategy to get customers "online" or "go to our website".

Front receptionist was rather rude. It was my first experience with centrelink in person as I was unable to use the online service and was advised over the phone that I would have to attend in person. Most people in line were having similar issues using the online services, yet she kept barking at people that the preferred method was online. I would assume that most people like me would also have preferred to use the online service rather than come in in person. She also said I must book an appointment. Nowhere on their site does it say you 'must'. They then proceeded to delete mygov account rather than update my name somehow and then blamed me for the error.

Weren't able to assist when I visited. Told that I would get a phone appointment. Said I would prefer to wait and discuss face to face. They refused. Representative on phone had no idea what to do and didn't know men could receive paid parental leave. Told it would be sorted and would hear in a few days. 2 weeks later no contact made and can't get hold of anyone on phone. Terrible service. Better education and understanding of systems for employees please.

Told me I'd get backpay and then I didn't.
Tried calling and every. Single. Time. "all our phone operators are busy, call again later. "

I really appreciated the help I got from micheal the other day on the pc to help set up payment for our daughter! If it wasn’t for micheal I would not have been able to do it! So thank you micheal! All the staff there are really good and go out of there way to help you! It’s a shame some disrespectful ungrateful people who think the world owes them! Treats them the way the do! The world owes you nothing! To recieve anything from Centrelink is a PRIVILEGE! And you should not abuse that and be grateful! We live in the most luckiest country on earth!
