Centenary Aquatic Centre & Health Club reviews
57Paid $13 for entrance (2 heads) Which gives access to all pools already. Perfect for the hot day. Was feeling hungry so decided to try their food. We got the Chips, 2 Bacon & Egg Roll + Flat White & Cappuccino. I had low expectations but damn! Everything was good $29 for food well spent! Also the coffee was so good! Props to the cashier/barista
The pool is great, though deep to 2.1m, so may not suit everyone, especially if you are here to do water exercises.
It can get pretty busy at times and lanes can get a bit hectic, but off-peak its usually very quiet.
There is plenty of parking, including blue badge spwace a for disabled people, and there is alsonfilk access to the facility for disabled people.
This gym is truly special. Lots of gyms talk about inclusion and friendliness but nothing can beat this community. Not only have I seen results and reset my relationship with exercise but I’m doing it in a supportive and kind environment. Mel, Tom and Sarah are second the none for advice, motivation and a friendly face. Try the fun classes, social club or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of your own routine.
Amature and condescending customer service, terrible enough to ruin the whole experience.
I will not be recommending this aquatic centre moving forward.
The staff is lovely, pleasant time in this pool. The showers are great and there is enough space for everyone.
Great facility. Parking is very fluctuating and can be a bit hard. Staff is very friendly and change rooms are always clean.
Definitely worth giving your kids the experience of diving from heights. My 11 to 13 year olds loved the diving pool and having a baby pool nearby under the shade was also really helpful. On the Saturday we went there was plenty of parking. Diving pool was open from 1 PM to 3 PM. Check their website for open times or call ahead if uncertain to make sure you time it right. Two hours was just enough time for the kids to wear themselves out.
Terrible parking. No matter when you come here car park is full. Ost have parked from nearby schools and aren't even at the pool. DO NOT come during school hours or you'll regret it
Really happy with my membership, the staff are so accomodating, professional and friendly. Thank you Mel, you are always on the look out to help. To Nicole, Jenny & team - love the way you deal with members and visitors alike. Special shout out to Tom who puts in the extra effort to make HIIT classes fun and different catering to all ages and levels.
Very poor experience, got turned away from my free trial after walking 20 minutes to get there.
One of the two ladies working behind the desk was very rude, mean and very condescending.
If U are visiting Brisbane from another state stay away from this aquatic Centre.
Wonderful, friendly gym with personal and thoughtful staff. Sigi in particular is an absolute delight and makes every effort to ensure you get the most out of your experience. Highly recommend.
Clean facilities, friendly staff, convenient opening hours. There are many classes like HIIT and yoga included in the membership. Also unlimited access to the Olympic pool and the gym are included in the membership.
During the wet period we just had was surprised how much less congested the lanes were was a nice surprised as being 71 i do like to do at my own pace some days my fitness levels very from one day to another just dont like people passing me makes me feel in the way usually pick medium lane as slow lane i finf i am passing others usuallt sus out medium lane to ss what other swimmers are doing lol hate it when all doing freestyle then when i get in some on changes to breast stroke makes you feel unwelcome lol think maybe have to get over the feeling of being in the way admittedly majority of the time can do my laps at my own lleasure and not feel pressured to keep up those days for me are over o yes parking there is fantastic
Great facilities. The Olympic pool water quality is awesome. Really well looked after. The only thing I don't like much is the unpredictably of available lanes, specifically during business days after working hours. Most lanes are busy with squats.
Would be great if they had float belts and shower stools to for my clients with accessibility issues.
Loved this aquatic centre. 50m pool, clean and clear. Gym facilities too. If you’re a diver there’s a specialty pool for you to do your thing. If you’re a toddler enjoy your own circular swim pool. If you don’t swim the coffee is good. Something for everyone. Try not to clash with the swim squad times by looking up their timetable first.
Great kids swimming lessons they kept on them but still in a kind enough way so that the kids didnt hate them
Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the front counter staff are consistently a little unfriendly. But the main pool & female change/toilet/shower area are always reasonably clean so will be returning. The free parking makes it less stressful to visit here too.
Good place for swimming but won’t recommend joining the gym as they have 6 months minimum contract. Parking is an issue. You will end up making rounds in the parking everytime
Service was shocking went for a hot chocolate and the server was ngaged in a long conversation with a customer. Went bach later and got one and 4 sips and the cup was empty except for froth. Disapointed.
