Cellarbrations / Bowen Hills Beer Mart reviews
39 Old guy needs to be fired. Absolutely DISGUSTING "customer service" to myself and my friends.
Condescending, woman-hating. Fire him before he costs the business more money. Absolute joke.
Personally use my scooter as a personal mobility device since I cannot afford a car or another device more expensive than it. I have two disabilities that are rather well hidden as one is related to my jaw and the other.it doesn't matter.
What matters is the store owner doesn't allow me to park it inside in his view for literally less than 2 minutes to pickup alcohol has I have done honourably before. The old guy told me off.
I will not go to this bottleshop ever again. There is no support for disabled people. I hate having to explain I have a disability to randoms. It sucks. On the other hand, the BWS stores and cellarbrations have no such restrictions.
I can understand the store owner has liability concerns, but think about the customers here. We have our own issues we can't help.
Always a pleasure when Brain is on service, with a smile, and quick wit. Keeps a good customer experience
Full marks to the manager (Brian). He has years of experience and runs a very well stocked and clean store. Professional curtesy is what he stands for. Never let me down ever.
The old guy shouldn’t be employed there. His customer service is appalling. Will be making a formal complaint to owners. Will never be returning. The shop has lost a load of customers since he started and his just lost another two. He also took photos of my teenage daughter which will be raised with the police. But if your under age this is the place to go.
Went to buy 30 block of XXXX and there is a special price tag saying 47.99. Tag read
4x gold 30 can block.
The guy at the counter said it is only if you buy 4 cartons.
Will be reporting to fair trade for misleading.
Scammers
I don't drink anymore but as the last liquor shop I ever visited in my life I will give it 5 stars.
David who has worked there for a week was so lovely! 10/10 would recommend! The greatest quality service! Give him a pay raise
Condition of entry wear a mask, fair enough.salesman no mask, he was also unable to tell the difference between 1 liter and 700ml, seems to be luck of the draw, most staff know their job and all are polite
Good range for a small store pricing isn't bad either
What happened to the selection of craft beer? Ive just come in and its like walking into a different store. The shop attendant had no idea about basic brands. This is so upsetting…
Amazing selection of beers here! Staff are friendly, always happy to help and very knowledgeable about the options available.
So much beer variety! I have always thought of myself as a beer connoisseur, although with this range I felt to the ground in a nervous wreck as I was so overwhelmed. Luckily, the store clerk (superman?) noticed my predicament. He swooped over, found my the perfect lager, and gave me first class support.
Thank you for the experience, the beer was also cold and good to drink.
Amazing selection of craft beer. Friendly and helpful staff. Curated, but appeasing wine and spirits offering.
Can easily say that this is the best bottle shop in Brisbane. Such a huge amount of craft beers from all around the world, and they try their absolute hardest to get some of the super limited releases as well. Plus everyone who works here is super lovely, helpful and always keen for a chat about beers. Downside is that I have no self control and spend all my money at this store!
I was walking back from the rbh from visiting my dying friend & looked for a red wine for $5.00. The young girl found it for me. Great service & a great bargain.
Great selection, staff is knowledgeable and keeps your business low key. Perfect place for Sunday coming down. I have seen one dog on the bench outside.
I've been looking for Belgium beer's since arriving in this country, thank god I got told about this place. Also the guy working there was very helpful and had a great knowledge of beer.
Cameron put on a show with his quick arithmetic behind the counter whilst under pressure from a line of thirsty customers
Purchased 6 beers online and was only sent 4. After weeks of chasing and back a forth calls trying to get a refund issued, they are now completely ignoring my calls and messages. I now have to dispute the purchase with my credit card provider. Absolutely appalling service and I would not recommend purchasing from them
Has an impressive range of beers, so many craft beer I had not seen at any other craft beer store. Guy behind the counter new his stuff and was happy to chat and give recommendations.
