Highly recommend this pub for a great family meal out. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is so yummy and very generous sizes, the Sunday roast are the best I've ever had. The new manager is awesome. My kids love coming here and ask to go every day if you don't feel like cooking and want a great meal then give it a go

We recently attended a function here - the organisation was atrocious, no aircon for the first hour+, no music for the over an hour, had to hook up our own technics to get sound system working, no microphone until 1/2 way through speechs, no bar supplies unless we asked the stafc to go get them & The 1/2 the Food was an absolute disgrace- burnt pork belly - no one could eat any of it, 1/2 the parmys burnt, 1st serve of wings burnt. & to top it off - our family emailed numerous complaints to venue & still have not recieved a response.

Excellent bar staff that made all of us feel really welcome. It's a nice change and we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious lunch.

My daughters meal (seafood basket) was burnt, my wife's salmon was over cooked and dry.
Mine and our friends was OK. Two out of four I suppose?
We won't be going back any time soon.

Travelled to town for the night with my partner got the ribs and wings for $25 and my partner got the steak hands down best pub meal i have had in years!

Love the food - totally nailed the menu items. Never had a miss in the last 4 months. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The Homestead is rocking. Just love being able to come and have an excellent meal at our local pub. Chef - thank you.

Caesar salad was perfect, aioli taste amazing and dianne sauce is perfect, tezz is the best and tracy makes a mean cocktail ;) ;)

Always has special offers on their food.
Good portions vs price and staff make the effort.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, a definite must if you feel like a few beers after work to wind down.

I live half way between the Taigum Tavern and the Homestead. Compared to Taigum Tavern the Homestead is a bright and lively place on a Saturday afternoon.
Wouldn't bother with Taigum ever again.

The drive thru drinks have a hot warmer with pies made by the chef. They are absolutely beautiful and big. I love the chicken pies the best, but highly recommend you trying what’s on offer on the day. Best pies I’ve ever had.

Was informed had run out of bread. So now garlic or cheesy bacon bread. Meals didn’t go through to kitchen, after waiting enquired on meals when nothing came out, was informed that had issue with printer in kitchen and had been doing that for last few days.

DO NOT GO HERE! We waited for 2 hours for our food without even any staff letting us know of the delay. There’s people drinking full glasses of milk… Staff come through with a coles shopping trolley into the restaurant every 30 minutes! We chose our table and did not get presented with any menus or guidance on where/how to order. The only plus side to this place is I won $100 on the pokies.

Spoke to the blonde manger about letting a couple in who were having a disagreement in the car park. The manager happened to be having a cigarette at the time and saw the argument and on the radio spoke to all the security guard and denied entry. The couple was completely sober and wanted to come in with a group of mates. Tried to talk to the lady who was the manager and she was completely dismissive. Deviating behaviour. Will never return and never recommend.

21st Birthday Party was Fun. Limited Bar Facilities. Make sure you request what you want. Check to see if they have any other functions on the same night. Because it will impact on the Service you get from the Pub. It did for me. I ordered a Cocktail for my Sister, was told I had to go downstairs to order it & was told I couldn't bring it, the Drink, back to our Private Function. A bit weird! The Bar was a bit unorganized. Food was good. Sweets a bit Sad. To much fried nibbilies.

Unfortunately both times I've been everything I first ordered was no longer available and we were told after waiting about 30-40 mins, however the food lovely and staff were friendly and approachable.

The TAB machine dispensed $40 change as a voucher. I tried to get the change from the counter. The staff phoned TAB and then walked over to me and said they couldnt give me my money. The staff member did not give a single s@$t

Service was very helpful, and my rare steak dinner wasn't over cooked.
I would definitely go again.

This is our local, staff are friendly and always like a good old chat. Always happy to help where they can and can accommodate for those looking to hold that special occasion.

Just checked it out as a possible venue to watch UFC main event. It will do fine. Certainly has changed from the pub I remember in the seventies! Been going there to watch UFC Main Events. Great venue.
