Cavill Lane - Surfers Paradise reviews
38Worst Korean bbq ever been to, over priced for what you get, timber forks and the servings are that small would not even feed one person, never again will I visit, going hungry I think would be a better option, absolutely over priced it’s a disgrace
Great selection and very convenient in central surfers
Are the 3 enormous & visually offensive TV screens blaring out Sky News misinformation, 24/7, really necessary?
I love Cavill Lane and it’s hidden gems like the arcade for the children and wide selection of food. Looks like the Halloween haunt this year will be the best event yet. I’m impressed with this eclectic arty laneway coming into its own and I’m sure there will be plenty more on the table in the future. Surfers Paradise laneways are iconic and Cavill Lane is set to be the best.
I love this gem of a laneway running between Orchid Avenue and Surfers Paradise Boulevard - located conveniently right underneath the Hilton Surfers Paradise. Incredible vibe and huge selection of multicultural eats! So many hidden gems, definitely worth a look. I can't wait for the Haunted Passage Halloween event in October too!
Cavill Lane is an excellent location with a variety of fantastic businesses and events. It has been a pleasure working with Carleen recently to organise some exciting events. I would highly recommend!
Without being able to travel over seas it was great to find this place! Was like being in Thailand again for the night! Great addition to surface
Great atmosphere lots of restaurants to choose from only disappointing thing was the overpriced attractions and the lack of souvenir shops
Hi mate had the son and family at the mall there all the shops there problems very helpful and easy to get on with don't be shy give them a try. No photos sorry.
Great place, Early morning walk and the council has already cleaned the schoolies mess up. Impressive
Very good, especially Kathmandu, especially the extra hot chilli egg chow mein. To die for, literally, that is seriously good chilli! Thankfully the beer calms the fire!
I found a lovely place to eat is very spacious you don't have a cigarette there's a big TV not many shops but that was nice big specialist area
Centrally located at all the action - bars, resto, convenience store, bottle shop, etc, and only a minute walk to the beach—lively and fun place, especially at night time. Get crowded on the weekend!
Terrible at keeping fully paid scheduled appointments always running hours behind and not very good communication between staff
This place will offer you a good dine in area because it has a lots of different nationality dishes around. Lots of bars and resto in very affordable prices. Plus the view around.
Visited Kathmandu Momo House. The staff were warm and welcoming. We decided on our order and the staff said nothing of what we ordered went together and they helped us choose dishes that complimented each other. Food was amazing - you must try the Momo! Took me back to Nepal! Fantastic!
Very good ramen here. Having been to Japan a couple of times now, I can confirm this place is authentic and has aweseom ramen. 100% will visit again
This place is a joke, many empty shops and the food from existing shops are poor quality and very expensive. The whole area is very windy and dark at night so it is not comfortable at all to eat day or night. The restaurants here put table and chairs wherever they want and block the walking traffic as if there is no management. Can’t believe this poor setup exists in the heart of Surfers.
Great place, food is great but slightly premium, beach next door and habour views close to apartments for tourists planning to spend 2 or 3 days it's great.
Great place for an Asian meal - lots of choices Japanese, Korean, Chinese Thai and others. You can order from the separate eateries and eat at their tables in the middle, meaning not all your group has to eat the same cuisine. We had fried dumplings, Singapore noodles and nasi goreng and everything was delicious and reasonably priced.
Cavil G tram stop leads onto the cavil mall region where you can get food from many known international brands. Night family free entertainment. A visitor information centre. A night market next to the world famous Surfers Paradise beach. Ripley's believe it or not. Irish pubs. Leading onto the entertainment strip where the nightclubs are located. Younger children are best vacating the area before 10pm as the nightclub crowds mass at this time. I've always found the area reasonably safe to walk around. Tattoo stores are popular in this area as with surfwear stores. Loal tip. When leaving the tram on the left side of Cavil Ave is a really good cheap shop where you can get Australian shirts, caps, cheap sox, sunnies, undies, wallefs, bags (cheap, cheap)
