Carina Leagues Club

Thought we would try this place out, as we are trying to find places that are suitable for children, more specifically our 3 and 5 year olds.
This leagues club has fantastic facilities, even the bathrooms that made me question designs of mine.
The club staff were welcoming and hospitable.
The complimentary coffee machine was lovely and the hot food they serve in the gaming lounge was tasteful.
The selections of drinks and cocktails was satisfactory and the bar staff showed great craftsmanship.
Reception worked well under pressure.
The kids club was a great incentive for parents to attend "adult club".
Lastly the food was amazing, the lasagna was homemade and absolutely Delicious, the pizza was soft and flavourful I could not fault anything at this club.
Will most definitely return.

Venue was great and function organisers went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. Would most definitely use again and would highly recommend as a Functions Venue. Great food, great drinks, great staff.

The lady on the counter assisting with kids club was extremely rude and patronising. The way she spoke to my friend was almost abusive. Stupidly we continued to walk into the club after that interaction, the non-existent service from the waitstaff was unexpected. The bar staff were even worse. No one wanted to be there and took it out on customers.

The most positive interaction was the lady who was on meet and greet as we left the club. She was very friendly and attentive.

I don't like leaving negative reviews but I feel like I need to due the service I received tonight.
I went to this venue with my children tonight so they could play in Lucky's Playland.
Whoever the lady was behind the desk (signing in the children) completely ruined my evening. She was so patronising and rude, if it wasn't for the excitement of my children, I would have walked out. Upon arrival, there was another family signing in, and she told me to use another computer. The set up was confusing, there was a barrier to indicate where to line up (and one end was blocked off. Mind you, it has never been blocked off before) and the only way to get to the other computer was to rudely push past the other family. I decided to go to the other side, to get to the computer. The lady started pointing and gesturing at me like I am a child, telling me that I can't go that way and motioning with her hand to go "this way, come around this way"). I was then made to rudely push past this other family. I decided to let that go, and continued the sign in. When I was looking at the steps I needed to take to sign them in (only a few seconds), she then proceeded to tell me (and point at me again) to just look at the diagram and swipe my child's card, it shows you what to do, in such a rude, embarrassing and patronising way. Please don't point at me and try to belittle me. I then told her that there is no need to be rude, only to be told that "I'm not being rude, I am helping. "
On top of this, the bar staff barely crack a smile, we were told upon being led to our seat in the restaurant that if we don't order online, we have to get our own menu. We went to the coffee shop, and most of the chairs were packed away, so we had to get our own. On top of this, my children told me when we got home that they had barely any dinner in Lucky's Playland as they needed to use the bathroom and it was gone when they got back (I understand this may have been a misunderstanding but if you have barely touched meals, surely you check first before removing?).
The two stars are for the lovely lady who served us at the Cafe, and the lady who greeted us at the door on arrival.
I honestly will be rethinking attending this club again.

Usually go for a drink and a meal. Super friendly staff well trained and helpful.

Food is top quality and reasonable priced.

Great food. Service is super fast. We often wait a good 20minutes after we order but not at Carina Leagues we had our order delivered at least 10 minutes from sitting so I was impressed by this and the food was delicious and fresh. Family friendly. Car park is great plenty of it. There's a wheel chair ramp as well so everyone can visit.

Very disappointing. 3 out of 6 of us ordered battered snapper, tough as a boot would be a kind review. When we complained, we were offered a replacement or refund. We requested a change of dish, as we didn't want the same outcome again. They obliged, after asking us to pay the difference. Our guests who have spent more than 40 years in the restaurant business were appalled at that request - not good customer service. We came here on a recommendation, we won't be back.

Had dinner there lastnight 6th of January 2023 and all I can say is that it was atrocious for such a heavily backed establishment. Ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari to share with my girlfriend. We also Ordered 2 steaks. Sirloin medium rare and a Rib Fillet medium rare. The Salt and Pepper Calamari came out in what felt like less than 5 minutes luke warm and the coating was dismal! Japanese Mayo salty with some random Lemon Pepper sprinkle on top? (why) the Rocket salad and pickled Papaya Salad was so sad! The rocket leaves were borderline yellow and limp. Both steak over cooked and charred so much! Pepper Sauces were horrible and the side of Caesar salad for the steak the croutons were stale. Also the duck fat potatoes were completely undercooked and even the potatoes they gave her were old looking and blemished. They looked somewhat busy but also seemed to have a bunch of staff in the kitchen. There's something definitely wrong going on in there, Do Not Recommend!

We dropped in for dinner on a Monday night. Place was pretty quiet, no queues. Ordered our meals via the App and they came out in less than 10 mins. Schnitzel was pretty good and great roast meat gravy. The snapper was a little dry but otherwise pretty good value. A new person at the bar but people ha e to learn somewhere, overall pretty good. Worth a visit.

Had my partners birthday there tonight - she ordered the eye fillet medium rare, first one came out with my meal and was well done, so I ate my meal while she sent hers back, 15 minutes later her second eye fillet arrived - completely overcooked and dry again! $40! The server was brilliant but the food not good - will not go back

Lots of awesome facilities and environment/venue is great. Food is average as well as not that cheap.

The meals are delicious, but I can't go past the daily roast special! Become a member and get amazing deals on food and drink

Their crispy skin barramundi is delicious. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere in The Paddock is great.

Pretty impressed by this club. Kids club opens @1100 on weekends. Get in fast. $10 entry for kids. Meals can be delivered down to the kids. I would love to see more vegetarian options available on the menu. Lots of meat options. Pizzas are good. The cafe out the front makes a good coffee. Just had the pawns 10 out of 10.

Stopped for a quick lunch with family in between appointments. Was lovely and quiet, didn’t have to wait long for food and good prices. There were no napkins to be found anywhere and no jugs of water - so had to keep going back out of restaurant to the bar - that needs to be changed - otherwise lovely lunch with large portions of delicious food

Today the lunch Me up was excellent, the service staff was par excellent price right, all systems for a great lunch keep it up Carina League's.

Sensational kids play area downstairs. 3hrs of play for the kids and free time for the adults.

Sports bar is great. Cafe/coffee shop too.

So tonight was out first time back to Carina Leagues club in a few years. (Covid break) and boy were we surprised. The place has had a bit of a face lift and some changes to the dining room which make it a bit "cozier" for want of a better word. The staff are great and efficient and helpful. The food came rather quick I must say the quality of the food was superb and great value too. I would have zero hesitation in recommending the Carina Leagues Club if you want a great night out!
