Great information centre, make sure you have a look through the Shell collection housed there. Beautifully set out with a spectacular collection of shells. Best we have ever seen. Well done to all involved.
Wow, what great service. Took the time to find what I wanted and gave great recommendations. No sell. Perfect
Handy information centre highlighting the best tourist experiences the Capricorn coast has to offer. Free maps and brochures available as well as friendly helpful information provided by the lovely people that work there. Make sure you checkout the fantastic shells on show in shellworld which is situated inside the information centre. Gold coin donation and run by friendly volunteers you'll be amazed by some of the amazing shells on display. Featuring shells found on our local Australian beaches to shells from different parts of the world. Highly recommend calling in on your travels.
Team there are a wealth of local knowledge and assisted with finding accomodation on a heavily booked long weekend.

Staff didn’t really provide any information or help for questions about things to do in area and great Keppel island.
Told to call tour companies in regards to basic information.
Two very helpful ladies provided us with lots of information, on Sunday afternoon. Great service in current times.
The ladies here were very helpful and we certainly had a better time in Yeppoon then we otherwise would have.
We were actually at the markets. But the visitor centre is pretty comprehensive, if visiting the area you should really drop in here before making any detailed plans.
The staff was very informative and helpful. Answered all of my queries and gave me plenty of local info and suggestions of things to do, hiking trails and places to eat. If you're going to Yeppoon pop in and see the people there. You won't be disappointed.
This information centre has every bit of information one would require. Very friendly staff with excellent knowledge of the area
Good to find some things to do in the surrounding area, a very interesting collection of shells too
Small town but lots of anazing things to explore. I love the double head, its walking track is really good. The pinnacle is spectacular:)
Remember to use insect repelant, there are lots of mosquitoes. Capricorn Coast is a must to visit. If you get here check out Great Keppel Island ad well. Happy holidays:)
