Thank you! For a wonderful Christmas lunch experience. The food was very good and plenty; prawns, bugs, oysters, baked fish, plus all the traditional food and trimmings. Most of all, the staff were friendly and worked tirelessly to give us all a wonderful day, and they did! Thank you Capalaba Tavern, you were a breath if fresh air, from your fantastic Christmas buffet to the friendly service.
I love this joint the deck is superb not to mention we can also bring our four legged friends for a brew!
What a great evening with the Christmas party was a hit the kids loved it and food was amazing.
We have come here many times over the years and have always enjoyed ourselves. Food is good, service friendly. Recently the food was a bit hit or miss but we have discovered this was due to a lack of head chef in recent months. After a chat with the new head chef (and a couple of excellent meals) I am confident they will continue to improve the quality, consistency and range of food again. New chef is lovely to talk to and clearly knows what he is doing. Looking forward to many more good meals here.
Today was our first time coming for Christmas lunch, everyone on our table loved it and will be talking about it for months to come. They have all said a HELL YEAH! To coming next year!

Wow! Amazing King Avo parmy had today, served beautifully and was so delicious (and huge). Service from all was wonderful from wait staff, manager and head chef checking on our meals! Special mention to Peta who helps everyone have an enjoyable time, Jess and Neil the head chef for his impeccable service. See you again soon!

Terrible, booked for lunch 20 ppl, when we turned up we were told that NO chefs had arrived and that we wouldn't be able to order food. They had my details they could have called me to let our group know. Very inconvenient and bar staff said it happens all the time.
We held a family birthday celebration in the terrace function room and couldn’t have asked for better service. The food was great and nothing was too much or too hard. Thank you!
