I had an appointment with Dr Janet Akinboye. She was pleasant and very efficient. The reception staff were all very pleasant and approachable also. At least this surgery doesn't pay for fake reviews.

1 star to support bilk billing.
Every time I arrive early and don’t get into my appointment over an hour after my booking time. I think it’s time to find another practice. Do not recommend.

This practice needs better time management and communication. Had an appt with dr Larkins today booked for 11am, she spent over 20 minutes with one patient and takes another 5-10 minutes to actually come back out and call for the next person, my son was very unwell so we left at 11: 40. Sick patients should not have to wait 40+ minutes to see a doctor especially with appointments booked. Disappointing.

I had an appointment at 9: 30 and it has been an hr wait, all up 5 people have walked in and gone to see a doctor way before me.

Recieption was rude and judgemental if I could give negative stars I’d give this place a -5

Called and booked an appointment over the phone. Arrived on time for appointment and was told no it’s a phone appointment. Saw the gp while there for urgent medical needs and he said “don’t book in here, we don’t have time for new patients” and “you should have called your regular gp”. I responded with I had called my regular gp but couldn’t get an appointment until the following day. And needed a medical certificate for work today. The dr was extremely rude and condescending. Why are receptionist booking patients in and drs telling patients they don’t have time for patients? Have been here 4 times so I was not a new patient. It’s a joke. Super unprofessional and disappointing.

So many reason for 1 star - too many to list - but let's start with they cancelled my appointment to get my results, and when I objected they threatened me with the Police. Even when I was silent - they told me I was being abusive. When I asked for a TELEhealth appointment I was refused. I didn't raise my voice or swear at them.apparently my tone of voice was aggressive. And apparently when I rang back (trying to get my results) after they hung up on me numerous times - this was holding up their phone lines. This is just one instance.

I have many more examples from different appointments at the same surgery.like them running 40mins late, then going in for a PAPSMEAR and being told they couldn't do it because the DR had a sore finger. Only to find out on another appointment that Smears are no longer done by the DR and are self administered.

I can continue - but you get the drift.

The dr I went to visit was unprofessional and disinterested in any of my medical concerns, when requesting more than one script as well as a medical certificate I was told I was not allowed more than two requests, then further asked to leave. Do not recommend.

I gave them 1 star the positive is they bulk bill everyone.

I have been coming here for years when i need a certificate for work or a script to help me get past a virus / flu. The negatives are many the doctors are generally prepared to spend no more than a few minutes (2 maybe 3) listening to you. If you have more than 1 thing to discuss then expect them to ask you to make a second booking. Also they are always tragically behind schedule even at the start of the day somehow they just never run to the time of day you book your appointment for a good day will be 15 minutes late a bad one will be up to an hour late.

Foolishly i have attempted to use this service for more meaningful consultations like weight loss or a general health check up as a fellow approaching 50 it makes sense to try to understand how my body is travelling and if there are any issues. Let me say it has proven a complete debacle and i have scrapped the idea in favour of a non bulk billing GP that is prepared to take the time to do a complete health check.

I wont say don't go here they certainly have a place in the community and the service chain but go in with simple issues and don't expect too much and you wont be disappointed.

I walked in for my appointment only to be told they don't have my records on file and that I now couldn't see a doctor, I'm very concerned about this practice misplacing my medical records, be careful with this practice! Not happy at all!

I’ve never been more disappointed by a doctor in my life.
I called yesterday to book a phone consult with the gp, the male receptionist only asked for my name and says “yep that’s booked. ”
Without even telling me a time so I had to ask for a time. The fact that I had to remind him how to do his job is already insane to me.
I got a medical certificate requesting today and yesterday off of work and it was texted to me as a photo.
I then called again today as I think I will need tomorrow off of work as well. They then proceed to tell me I need to come pick up the medical certificate when I told them countless times I am unwell and do not have the money to pay for fuel to pick it up. I asked why they couldn’t do what they did yesterday by just texting and they said that goes against protocol and they can’t email either.
I’ve never spoken with such unprofessional people in my life. I’ve now wasted a whole day and do not have a medical certificate. I’ll have to go into work tomorrow unwell since I don’t have the medical certificate and since these people don’t know how to do their job. Absolutely pitiful.

Be ready to wait atleast for an hour for you appt. Filled the transfer of records multiple times still the reception keeps asking to fill it again just because they can't keep a track of it or follow it up. Pt needs to attend multiple times just for their unprofessionalism.

Don’t bother horrible reception staff when I arrived she was yelling at another staff member then proceeded to take her anger out on me I left don’t waste your time book somewhere else.

Disgusting. Booked an online appointment as I am feeling extremely unwell with flu like symptoms, short of breath and can barely get out of bed. Tried to do the right thing and call the moment they opened to change to telehealth appointment as to minimise the potential spread (Not COVID, PCA test negative). After receiving a confirmation email of the appointment I called, and was advised my appointment had been removed as I had not been there before and only taken my daughter as her parent, so they have some of my info on file already. There is no less than 5 appointments online available as I write this, the day of.

2 things, how do you build a business with free space available on your day and turning back business? And we are coming into winter, do you think you will have no new clients call?

The time I took my daughter they were 45mins for a 10am appointment. So maybe they are overbooked, TURN OFF YOUR ONLINE BOOKING THEN SO PEOPLE CAN ORGANISE THEIR DAY PROPERLY.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Been here twice and would never recommend. Doctors do not listen to you at all and talk to themselves more than the patient.

Came here as my usual doctor was unavailable.absolute waste of time.staff was rude, made me go next door and purchase a mask while he was wearing his under his chin and the other receptionist wasn’t even wearing one.then when another customer came in without a mask, he heard nothing of needing one.i could not believe how unhelpful they were.will never come back to this practice and would recommend you stay away too.totally useless.

Waste of time! Waited over an hour for my appointment, staff was rude and I wanted to see a female doctor to feel more comfortable and she was rude as well and told me I have to go to my old doctor for my referral even though I’m here to find a new doctor! Absolute waste of time! There’s heaps of other bulk bill doctors find another one!

Extremely slow … specially Dr MD MEHRUL HUDA …. Waited about an hour and everyone walked in and gone and I’m still waiting horrible experience. 100% not recommend this Doctor!
