Calamvale Hotel Suites and Conference Centre

My family and I had dinner at the restaurant, my vegetables were cold, not even what was supposed to come with the meal, my husbands food was oily and bland and both of our meals came over half an hour later than the rest of our table, this was a Wednesday night, not even an apology, also way over priced, no music and very dim lighting inside and out. Never coming back.

We ate at the bistro great service really excellent food steaks were as ordered highly recommend this venue

Went to the Calamvale hotel last night and the service was horrible, I ordered the chicken burger and is wasn’t edible
Heads up if you want chips make sure you ask and pay an extra $3 as they don’t come with the already $25 burger, the lady at the front didn’t try upsell and when mentioned I said no don’t worry about it, they ended up arriving with chips and asked me to pay before I leave, I would never come again it was horrible food and horrible service, the chicken was burnt, do better!

If you see someone richer than you don’t bother, had a lil Arab boy from dubai make me kicked out for talking to him. Definitely the pub for the people with money but I promise the people without money will be there after you baldy see ya and ya fam soon

Great place for a function. Ours was catered and the food was really good too. Look forward to more functions here.

Some one needs to teach her the basics of customer service.

False advertising, there is no Sunday Vibes live music at 1pm or anytime. We asked the awesome waiter Abdul if he could turn the Spotify music up and change the playlist to something more upbeat. He tried very hard to convince his boss but she refused to even though all the Parton's outside including our party of 20 was wanting live upbeat music.
The only postive was the awesome service by Abdul

Uncooked, cold chicken on both Club Sandwiches we ordered. I clarified if the chicken was meant to be hot and was told by the manager it was meant to be hot. I asked for the sandwiches to be remade and they were just taken away and seemed to be put in a microwave for a few seconds because the salad on the sandwiches were warm and took maybe 3 minutes to bring back out. There was no apology just silence to our complaints and our money back. Would have costed $17 for a sandwich that could have put me in hospital for uncooked, room temperature chicken and had to pay separately for chips. Instead of putting money into renovations, should put it into real chefs and better staff. Went to the Algester Sports club instead and was way better.

Had a function and all the staff were helpful in ensuring our needs were met at an.affordable price. Couldn't fault the food platters or the service.

Came back last night for dinner in the restaurant.

Staff and service was great, fast, helpful and full of smiles.

2 of the 4 meals were great while the other 2 were average at best.

Will come back and give it another chance as it is the local.

I've been there a few times and the staff is always approachable, professional and helpful. The lunch special (ham/beef roast, chicken schnitzel, cottage pie) for $10.95 and kids meal for $10 (inc drink and ice cream) are amazing value. The standard menu also has a wide variety with large portions.

A modern, stylish hotel with plenty of easy parking, great location & awesome staff. (yes, I know it's overused but these guys really ARE awesome.) Several bars, dining & relaxing spaces which are all super comfy. We've been several times & will be back & recommend to all.

Bar staff are super lovely, but the older bloke who I assume is a manager was rude as hell. Covid is a weird time but when no one in sight is wearing a mask properly including staff, singling out one person by saying "put your mask on, I won't ask you again" immediately after having a drink is pretty rough. I get it mate, the rest of us have jobs and rules to adhere to just like you do, but ease up. Would have absolutely come back, but we're all a bit unsure now.

Dined in the Garden Terrace for lunch today. My Dad and I both heartily enjoyed the delicious and generously sized buffet roast. This roast lunch special is exceptional value and done to a very high standard.compliments to The Chefs! The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the duty manager who went out of his way to make our experience a very pleasant one. Thank you, we look forward to returning again soon!

I would not recommend that DJ Danny for anything even it was.my funeral. Suppose to be 80s 90s retro night he wasn't even born then so go figure. Worst DJ ever.

No aircon on a hot day, food mix ups happened, over charged for a few items but rectified come payment time, no sports on TV on a UFC day, boring gaming room. Positives on the other hand, good specials on bar, food prices fair, playground occupied kids entire time, clean bathrooms and security guard on the door was super friendly and welcoming.
Overall: 3/5 especially when it's a well known venue (for what I am not quite sure)

Great decor and options for dining inside and out. Food portions are very satisfying and super tasty.

Bar manager advised my lawful exemption was not acceptable. The lady behind the bar even question her manager and he advised it’s The Calamvale Hotel policy due to the clientele they get in their establishment. Disappointed but we took our business to The Glenn round the corner.

Waited 40 minutes for 2 basic meals, gave up and left without eating. It wasn’t even busy, was a waste of time coming here.
The big fella at the entrance was great though!

Service & atmosphere is always great but the new menu leaves a lot to be desired. We are monthly regulars but after a few bad dining experiences we thought we'd give it one last try. Previously had all of the share meals which were extremely over priced for what they were (the gyoza share platter in particular- several burnt dry gyoza for $14!). Ordered 2 pizzas tonight & the Perri Perri Chicken barely had any topping- for $24… this is not a $24 pizza with less than a third of the pizza to have topping. May as well order some dry flat bread.
