Disgrace for a mosque in a tourist town like Cairns. According to its website on Friday Zuhr prayer is at 12.20. I walked all the way from my hotel to the mosque. Reached there around noon. Deserted. All locked up. Could not even enter as it required a code. No contact phone number in website. Stood outside for 20 minutes and walked back to the hotel. Is it a qadiyani or Shia mosque?

Soo glad i was able to find a mosque so close to the city during my holidays.very clean mosque and in a great location.

I'm 38 years of age and must be a slow learner at where my heart is truly at. English heritage, Islam at heart.
I'm joining the cains mosque within the week if God willing.
Me and my wife have far more in common with Islam and the brothers in Afghanistan (Taliban) than these so called animals in office and the media in Australia.

Peaceful place. Imam in the kuthbah emphasised to follow Sunnah in every steps of our life from rising in the morning to going to the bed 24/7/365 till the death comes and grab you.

Jumma Khutba starts 1: 10pm. Prayer starts between 1: 30pm to 1: 40pm. Arrived at the mosque Friday 27th December 2019 around 12: 30 pm. Gate opens at 12: 45pm. We are from Melbourne, meet few other Bangladeshi family from Brisbane and Sydney as well. Really Peaceful place. Mosque is also air conditioning. Ladies payer option is also available. Must visit place in cairns for all the Muslim.

Muslim place of worship open to everyone with loving hands. Open Mosque day every now and then with announcements.

This is the one mosque in Cairns and surrounding area. Glad to see the mosque in the remote Down Under area. The Moslem community here is good and very friendly and helpful.

Alhamdulillah Masjid available in Cairns.
Went for trip to Cairns with family and found that there is a beautiful masjid available for 5 prayers.
Opens very prayer and brothers in the Masjid are very welcoming.
