59 Our 4 meals were absolutely delicious.
Last minute booking on Father's day, no problem and the service was exemplary.
Highly recommend this busy little restaurant.
So many menu options.
Walked in by myself for some lunch and was then taken out to a table and was told they would be back to order, 15 minutes later nothing. So I walked next door and was served straight away. Will never be back or recommend, first impressions last.
We went to breakfast on Sunday with our softball breaky group and food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Can highly recommend.
We had brunch there today, lovely staff, so friendly and welcoming, service was great, food was amazing and beautifully presented.
Will definitely go back.
Loved coming here for lunch every now and then. The chef is outstanding. The food to die for. Lunched recently and something has changed. Fish was over-cooked. Chips dry and boring. Salad drowning in dressing. Burger was dry as well. Has the chef been changed out? I hope he comes back if that’s the case.
5 stars - food, service, quality. Not the cheapest one around but really good sizes of meals and fantastic taste. Highly recommended!
Excellent coffee and food. Love the outdoor sitting area. The gift shop has too many wonderful bits and bobs.
A neat, well setup Cafe with a far better menu than you would expect in this tidy but out of the way township.
Setup between two old stores on the main street the decor and service are nice and the meals good.
Booked a table - it was “assumed” we wanted an outside table in summer!
Ordered drinks but had to wait to order meals as understaffed. Waited half an hour to order and it was not that busy.
No GF options catered for so needed sourdough. Asked for eggs Benedict to be on sourdough instead of an English muffin. Waitress didn’t want to oblige but when my meal arrived it was 1 piece of the smallest piece of sourdough - you know the bit at the end of a loaf!
Poor service overall.
A beautiful jem for breakfast, lunch and morning and afternoon tea's. You able to drink as licensed premises. It has gifts you can buy.
The meal was lovely. The young waitress is an asset to the venue! Bubbly, attentive and helpful!
I will give 5 coz I 3njoyed my food. The grilled flat fish was good w/ a salad on it tasty dressing and the cheesecake I takeaway was yum
We've eaten at a lot of places; this place is hard to beat. Meals & coffee are the best, consistent quality every time, super friendly & efficient staff. We keep coming back. Thanks guys
Quality, affordable and friendly place for breakfast. Lot's to see in town. We recommend sharing 'The big forriehill breakfast'.
I went into this cafe and a gentleman by the name of Richard served me at the counter and was extremely rude. One of the other younger staff asked me a question to which I answered and Richard said ‘I’ve already told you that’ and shook his head at me, he then tossed something in my direction before I walked out. I’m a local to the area and would never come back purely based on this experience. I feel sorry for the ladies who work there and have to tolerate such poor leadership / witness his behaviour and have to say ‘I’m so so sorry’ on his behalf as I walk out.
Thank you for another outstanding breakfast. Your Chef and service staff offer The Best experience!
Definitely returning.
2nd time here and it was a delicious brekky, a bit different which I loved. Well done to the chef on the very interesting menu. Nice waiting staff also 10/10
As far as I’m aware, the best country cafe between Toowoomba and Brisbane. Discovered as a great, cozy place to meet up with my parents midway.
Coffee is fantastic. The food menu is delicious, creative but not too wild. A good balancing point for all types of fussy eaters.
Staff are always welcoming and the gift shop/post office is worth a look.
Dinner tonight was delicious. Service excellent. Cocktails were yummy.
Our compliments to the Chief. Best meals in the Locker Valley
A really lovely cafe located in Forest Hill. Love that it has eclectic gifts and is the local post office as well. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. They also make their own cakes. I can vouch for the scones, soft and fluffy served with either strawberry or rosella jam. Easy to make a reservation and air-conditioned inside.
