Cache Cache Cafe & Bar reviews
47Good food, very friendly staff and comfortable seatings. But the menu has been used for years.
Very calm place. Ordering by your phone. Food came out fast and fresh
Absolutely delicious
Went to this place for some breakfast as it had some good reviews. Got to the Cafe sat at out table and ordered off the QR code. When the drinks came they were messy and spilling over. When the food arrived the lady who brought us our food didn't take the menus away and left them with us. When we started to eat we noticed a gross smell and it was coming from the eggs. We decided to continue eating but than a group sat in the area near us and was super loud not something you want when you are trying to eat your food. Was not happy with the overall quality of service and food. We had to stop eating and leave as the eggs were getting to much. Will not be coming back
It’s a nice place … but menu for is pretty limitet for breakfast. No omelettes etc.
We had a very wonky table.where by one of the guests coffee kept spilling out due to table being unstable … so we pulled another table over to help stabilise…
Only to be told by waiter that tables are not to be moved … we told him about unstable table, coffee spilling over … regardless:
Do not move tables!
Regardless… To make a long story short.
Would I go back again?
No
I believe they should focus more on the food rather than requesting reviews from customers.
Great cafe - our local. Robbie is the reason we keep coming back here as he is always so friendly and goes above and beyond. The almond croissants and coffee are also really good!
Very nice sitting outside under trees and umbrellas. Food was nice although expensive for pensioners. Staff friendly.
Tried to book table by email as requested when I rang but booking didn't get to them.
Too complicated for people tech save.
Dined here a month ago with my missus. The food is decently priced and the food came out roughly between 12min to 15min. My missus found it hard to customise the food via the app as there wasnt an option to do so.
Overall food is good and we definitely will come back again
Came here for the first time with a friend for brunch. I ordered "The Benny" which came served on a bed of spinach in a croissant with a veggie fritter. The food was ok but nothing special and not worth the $16. The veggie fritter was plain and tasteless with no seasonings.
I didn't like the fact that they didn't even provide any condiments at the table such as salt and pepper to season your food.
Visited for brunch on a Sunday, it was busy but I would not say it was hectic. We were told to find a table ourselves and located a table for 4 but only 2 chairs. We then went to grab more chairs from the corner of the cafe, a staff popped out to tell us the chairs are broken but did not proceed to help us locate other options. So we were left to ask around other diners for free chairs. Considering ordering is also self-service from the menu online, one would expect a bit more proactive service to help the customer get seated and feel at ease.
The interior design and decoration of the cafe are cute and Instagram-worthy and that was about it.
We ordered a tonkatsu egg sando and it was disappointing.
The tonkatsu was cold and not crispy, the batter was fried dark brown instead of golden, and worst of all, half of the cut was just fat and gross to swallow. Maybe it's a fusion take on one of the most popular Japanese foods, but it was not a successful one.
The fried chicken burger also had similar issues with overcooking so I suspect it could just be the kitchen trying to pump out everything. Considering that fried katsu, and chicken are the main players in your dishes, it really should be done with care.
I will give them credit for the drinks though as the hojicha latte and matcha latte were both done well.
Overall a nice suburb cafe with good parking, clean and spacious, food portion is good but the quality is not guaranteed.
Nice cafe. Food is really good. Tried an iced mocha. It was great! Nice coffee l vibe and a really convenient place with lots of parking.
Overall, a good Cafe.
A bit pricey, but as expected of a Cafe. The shop is well designed with brightly lit indoors and a outdoors seating as well.
Ordered two Breakfast for Two platters essentially. They tasted great, costing approximately $39 with a huge quantity of food. You can choose your egg preference (poached, scrambled, etc).
Ordering is through the table QR codes, but there is an option to order at the front counter.
In addition, we ordered one flat white, and two macchiatos.
Atmosphere is good- busy and bustling, with certain booths being more private. Tables are arranged to not feel crowded which is great.
Staff are friendly. Their table-wiping skills leave crumbs on the seats as if they dusted it with a cloth.
Overall, a decent Cafe spot with a great atmosphere and decent food. Just make sure you are prepared to give your seat a once-over.
The wait staff waiting tables were lovely but the lady at the counter was rude however the food was average, nice portions but tasteless and needed seasoning.
I got Eggs Benedict where one egg was boiled and one that was perfect. I don't like waste so I just ate it.
My sisters enjoyed their meal which was a share platter between 2, such generous portions and could easily feed 3 people.
Well positioned spot with a courtyard for the kids to go running in, in front of the cafe so bring toys and 5 meters from a cool park for play after. (We had my niece and nephew with us)
Thanks for having us, would defs give this place another try to see if they get it right.
Lovely little spot for a bit to eat. Menu is interesting as not run of the mill cafe food.
Stopped in for Coffee and Scones. Food and coffee good and the staff friendly and helpful.
Scones were terrible (dry), but the fried chicken brekky was fantastic!
Good coffee and nice venue with good seating options.
Very good service & some great coffee from Toby's Estate. Rich smooth brew consistently well presented. They also have a beautiful selection of mouth watering sweets
Food was next level, and the portions reflect what you pay for which isn't common these days. Service was phenomenal. Hidden gem, this one
Friendly service. However they did forget our coffee order. Food was decent had the eggs bene with bacon. Saw a lot of tables having the chicken burgers which looked great but was too heavy for us. Might try it another time when im super hungry.
A wonderful hideaway spot for brunch. Excellent and attentive friendly service from front to back of house. Dined as a group of 9 and were well accommodated. The portion sizes are value for money and dishes are fresh quality and well presented. The veggie stack was delicious with balanced flavours. Fresh juices and the iced lattes were also on point. There aren't many menu options but what is there is made at high quality and delivered with smiles.
