Caboolture Community Action

They have saved me many times from having nothing to eat thankyou thankyou to all the staff merry Xmas to all

Caboolture Community Action Group is a not-for-profit association made up entirely of volunteers. They provide food hampers for those doing it tough, twice-weekly dinners for those in the community who are at risk from being socially isolated. These dinners allow an easy access feeling for people to connect with others in their neighborhood. If you have (still in usable condition) spare clothing, shoes, bedding, non perishable foods etc please consider CCA as your recipient. I'm also sure they could use some volunteer time from those who have some time to spare.

Always so kind and welcoming. The hampers are very good and are a massive help to those in need.

I was so upset asking for help has to be the hardest thing I have ever done, but the kindness, empathy and compassion shown was outstanding I was so relieved that people understood.thankyou

Great service (food parcels) provided free of charge to public in need. Wonderful volunteers too.

Not the greatest people to deal with and some of the volunteers need to wake up to themselves were all human beings no one is better than another

Was really impressed we arrived after they shut and they gave us a meal each and hamper of food big thank you for great service much appreciated

Very helpful staff, nothing's a problem, drop in for a culpa or grab some fruit and vegetables also food hampers or just talk to someone.

Good for a food parcel and a chat when you're lonely but be prepared for some hard advice and some attitude and some laughs and some bad advice, Sharin is amazing ️ some are kind and friendly some aren't.

Sharon started Caboolture community action after a personal loss.and has helped a unkown amount of people that's homeless broke no food with clothes food and a place to chat she is a true blessing to help the under privilege people in society I have often donated as much as I can when I can it help others less fortunate then myself if everyone helps each other it creates a better happy place to live we have most of us been in a tight spot and they take the time to help listen and gift you unexpectedly with extras.times seem to be getting more tougher with not much on the shelves in store the CCA gets less to go around if your doing well take in some unwanted items there are so many out there that you would be surprised how little they have. I'm not one to judge how a person got into there position but when they actively making a effort it's great to see a smile on there faces.as you never no when u might need help they will be there.so weather u want to donate goods or in need of food etc they will help you. I rang up on Tuesday 2022 at 9: 30 am they told me to come down and they could help me I got there and the lady was quite rude said we're closed and shut the door on me and my children I was in need of some support and I don't like asking for help
And this really upset me I'm a single mum of 2 and I'm really struggling through the Christmas period and I deeded assistance and can't go till Thursday without it so thanks heaps for your help today this world will never have enough for all of the people in need and it's not fair that so many have to go without it needs to change

It's really busy. They do need to be taking help. But they aren't because of covid. They are over stocked and I am worried that the people that need the items badly won't get it.

Helped me with food and it got me through tough times. Had all the basics needed. Tea, coffee, weather, tinned spaghetti, baked beans etc.

They gave me help when I really needed it, nice free feed and lovely people to meet! Would recommend going here if you're homeless! They really do care about you here!

Beautiful people who volunteer here, always going above and beyond to help people in need. I can't rate them high enough on here they deserve 10/5 stars

I have been helped by this crew and I appreciate it. I also volunteer here and thoroughly enjoy seeing the smiles they leave with after we attend to the ie needs as best we can. Beautiful people, both sides of the table.

But need to get more than just sausages all the time and meat patties maybe something else one night different
