9In my mid 30s and was refused service without ID. The guy at the counter was really rude about it.
After purchasing my drinks, the security guard questioned the age of my husband who wasn’t even in the shop. When I asked if he was speaking about my husband he replied saying he was short.
May I kindly suggest either a) training your security guards in better ways to identify a persons age/an appropriate way of addressing the question of someone’s age OR b) getting new security guards.
If I hadn’t have paid before he asked, I’d have just walked out
I understand everyone who looks under 25 yrs has by law got to show ID I am aware, but I have been before to this store and you have seen my ID before. I get it but also there is a more tactful way of going about asking for ID, not embarrassing people when there was another customer behind me. ️
Security guard approached my wife while paying at the checkout and asked “is the young guy outside underage? ” when my wife replied “no that’s my husband” he replied “So what, he looks short”
She was quite offended by his tone & it came across very rude.
Not everyone is 6 foot + tall…
It was really poor form the way he stood over her and spoke to her disrespectfully.
I’m 172cm tall & 31 years old. I might not look old but I certainly don’t look like a child.
Horrendous experience. Bought a bottle of wine on Valentine’s Day this year after work and the lady serving me refused to serve me until I got off the phone.
Opening hours till 10pm, shut before 930. Staff was smoking outside and just said they'd been having 'difficulties' before referring us to you're competition down at beach house, heading inside and locking the door.
Stays up till 10 on weekends, nice place. Has almost the same offers as other bws. Nice offers on wine
An unpleasant girl demanded myself and my mate's IDs as soon as we opened the door to enter. She wasn't even wearing a BWS Uniform. The girl dropped my mate's ID and didn't pick it up, so he had to. Despicable. I will never purchase anything from this joke of a shop.
I ended up going to a First Choice.
