Burnie Brae Centre reviews
26 Best little cafe around.
Beautiful fresh sandwiches, awesome salads and possibly the best chicken burger I've ever had. Thanks for the tasty lunches.
The kitchen & cafe staff definitely deserve a pay rise.
Burnie Brae is a brilliant community resource. I am attending table tennis this afternoon. Three hours of table tennis for $5. Not bad!
There are sooo many activities available and all are reasonably priced. On top of that there is a really good cafe. Everyone over 50 should look on the website and try something out. It's fun and you'll make friends.
The Service and the Food is very good
We enjoyed it.
The noise of the People could be more reasonable.
But that has nothing to do with Burnie Brae.
Thank you for the good People who so kindly volunteer.
I very much appreciated all the facilities and the friendly staff at Burnie Brae Centre. Wonderful
My first visit there and everything looks welcoming and well resourced. Seem to have lots of activities and services to access
Offers a range of services and programs from art and dancing to gym, massage, hairdressing and especially programs for the very old or challenged. Beautiful caring people. Can't compliment them enough
Friendly staff who support a range of clients elderly and disabled various user friendly activities and outings
Very friendly place.it is a place where seniors can gofor activities. I go for indoor bowls and love it
There's plenty of various support for the elderly and disabled people who need help and social care. Thank you to the great staff
Don’t buy into any services or make any donations to this respite care facility. They actively practice age discrimination, for both paid and volunteer workers. The management are also unprofessional and callous.
Have only been there twice for an art class and it's buzzing. Nice coffee and lovely fresh cafe style food. ALL STAFF are professional, friendly and very helpful. Oh and our art teacher I'd FAB-U-LOUS.
Go there four tes a week to the gym love the staff and everyone is so friendly always feel welcome
Burnie Brae has so many options available for seniors. Library, cafe, garden, travel centre, fitness and wellbeing to name a few or just go for a chat.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Had a walk through their garden, lots of raised gardens ready to go, and a nice walk through the park area. Looks lovely.
Burnie Brae Travel Connections:
I would like to send out a big bouquet to Nicole Nardini, a travel consultant at Burnie Brae Travel Connections.
She was the consultant who booked the major components of a 2020 trip to Europe, sadly cancelled because of the COVID19 crisis.
Being a travel agent at this time must not have an abundance of rewards. Throughout the entire booking and subsequent cancellation process, Nicole was cheerful and efficient, demonstrating she had my best interests at heart. Thank you and your company for you service. Felicity
As a carer I take my client here when he is well enough to go out. Staff are super friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Nice atmosphere and lovely quality meals served
This company is totally incompetent with their international communication being nonexistent & staff that are not adequately qualified. Due to both of the latter my regular services often didn't turn up, I had a drunk staff member turn up, a worker that had never pushed a wheelchair before and I fell out while crossing the road, staff that criticised everything I purchased on my weekly shopping days, I had to go back on a 6mth waiting list to see my specialist because know one turned up on the day to take me. I spent $2500 a month with them per month on varied services and this is the standard I received in return, shocking! There are a dozen more small offences, but look there are some great workers although few & far between but because of the lack of organisational skills, communication between rostering & scheduling and communication between staff & team leaders my services where often neglected, leaving me stranded & isolated.
I urge anyone to avoid subjecting themselves possibly to what I experienced with potentially worse outcomes (when the worker pushed my wheelchair into a lip on the road and I fell out, someone else could have broken bones, let aloan if the woman who smelt like stale rum and coke had a car crash).
Shop elsewhere for supports for yourself, clients, friends or your family members!
Great facilities. Travel agent. Coffee shop. Hairdresser. Activities.n outings. One stop shop for seniors!
Burnie Brae is my NDIS support provider of choice. I don't need to attend the centre often, but when I do, i am always impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. The facilities are excellent. A gym with exercise physiologists, a lovely cafe. My support workers are all Burnie Brae employees, and i have some amazing support and help from them. Can't recommend Burnie Brae high enough
