Buranda Village reviews
52You will probably encounter 3 crack addicts and some charity muggers while you are here but the food selection is good.
Great place for a quick trip to Woollies, Target, Bargain shop or to pick up take away food dinner and alcohol. Bargain shop has heaps of stuff with really competitive prices. Bargain shop owner is very friendly too, remembers people, offering personalised service.
Easy parking, but sometimes gets a little congested and squishy to maneuver the car, but traffic generally dispurses quickly. Worst thing is there are only trolly ramps off the footpath at each end of the complex. If your car is parked in the middle section, your trolly has to jump the gutter or you have to walk to the end and back - which is a pain either way when you have a full trolly. This is my local shop and I love it because trips to Buranda are always efficient and effective (even when I jump the gutter with the trolly).
Good option if you need something quickly and don’t have time or energy to visit one of the local Westfields.
It is a nice shopping centre with less shops for competition unlike other shopping centres with alternatives to buy from
I often go there as it's across the road from the Princess Alexandra Hospital. There is Woolies and Target, a few eateries and a chemist and the Commonwealth Bank, a cobbler who also cuts keys too. And a two dollar shop. Anyway my experiences at the shopping centre have been very good.
Very convenient location close to home. Be nice for there to be a bakery there but great spot regardless with a good sized Woolies, Nandos, Oporto, GYG, Target and a Snap Fitness.
Small village of shops and a few eating places. Plenty of parking undercover and open. P. A. Hospital across the road, slightly cheaper parking here compared to metro hospital parking across the road. There's a handy overpass walkway from P. A. Hospital to the Buranda village.
We often drop in here for Target, the news agency and Woolworths. There is also a reasonable selection of other speciality stores here. It always seems pretty busy.
This location has an excellent range of shops and lunch options and is easy to navigate. There are some sketchy customers but so far I have had nothing but the best experiences with the actual employees.
Some good fast food options and a booze shop, therefore good to prepare for your lonely Friday night in.
This used to be 'my' shopping centre until I moved. It seems to be going downhill. Some empty premises. Particularly disappointed to see Subway closed. This was an excellent franchise
Old and very basic has woollies. Target. Japanese food shop, public toilets are filthy and never clean so only use if desperate
One of the great inner city shopping centres that is easy to access and hasn't been renovated into some ridiculous megalithic hell store.
You get almost anything and everything at this place. As you haves Target, Woolsworth for the stores and a lot of food joints like Nando’s, Kabab and an Indian food place as well!
This is specifically for Eats Reef & Beef Cafe. The sandwich and coffee I had on Friday morning were fine, but the lady who served me left a lot to be desired. There was no effort to be polite toward me, but she seemed happy to smile and be friendly with others. I can't fathom why that might have been - I certainly put in effort to be amicable toward her. Definitely not keen to go back there again!
This is one of my favourite shopping centres next to my favourite hospital the Princess Alexsandra. Many great food venues. A great target with different stock. Friendly workers all round. It is pleasent and upbeat shopping at Buranda. Great parking.
Hope you find your special.
Katrina.
Woolworths Supermarket and Target as anchors. Not a great line up of Specialty shops. Quite a few fastfood and restaurant style food outlets but not the Big Name ones. Good parking mostly. More like a nrighbourhood centre.
Highly recommend FujiMart here for most asian food supplies. They have the best selection of packaged or frozen Japanese foods plus sake/wine/alcopops/beers.
Avoid at all costs. As if the suss junkies werent enough, there are a plethora of scumbag salespeople in the centre aisle trying to peddle their charity scams and get your credit card details.
A mid size shopping centre just near the city. Parking area is specious but always busy. Toilets are very small. It should have modern toilet and good lift, as it has some popular brand outlet like Woolworths, target, gyg, nandos, Oporto and so on.
