Bunnings Mermaid Waters

Hi,
The 5 stars are for the couple of nice people that work at this Bunnings, we know who they are.

Staff were too busy chatting to each other at the counter I said good morning to the young man did not answer me so I said it again I got a hey back! Really bad attitude disgusting service left there and went to Burleigh was greeted with a good morning as soon as we walked in, Mermaid is closer for me to go to but I will go the extra distance to avoid the bad attitude, it’s not the first time I have encountered this at Mermaid Bunnings.

I phoned first to make sure the mermaid waters store had what I needed because it is a smaller store, I just thought it best to ask. Joshua assured me they had all that I wanted.
Going through the store I talked to most of the staff, what a team, nothing was too much. Thanks max. Great store!

Asked at counter could I have a price check on a vacuum, stood there for at least 5.mins, staff sitting on floor chatting, went to counter again for assistance, non given, walked out, younger staff need training in manners

Super small.
Always long queue when check out

Don't be fooled.you can't get everything at this downsized store. Not a great deal of choice but the essentials are present and accounted for

Basic but handy.
It doesnt stock all the items and yet it is mostly busy.
Staff can be thin on the ground but usually helpfull.

Terrible quality laminate. The seams are visible. Installed an Egger that year for the same price. There really is a difference

Was good for a "whilst I am here" purchase, but the range is quite limited due to the size of the store and we couldn't get all of the items we needed.

A small Bunning with a tiny range. Shovels and spades? You better like the 1 or 2 they have.

Small but handy if you know what you need. I still manage to buy random things I didn't need! No sausage sizzle.

Lighting could be better and they don’t have a range of products quite as large as the massive warehouse style Bunnings.

Never get good service in here: - (I wrote this 2 years ago I visited yesterday and today. Phoned first to see if they had what I needed. They did. Went to store no help staff just standing around chatting offering no help.
Always the same in this store or you get general info like down there or if its not on the shelf we don't have.
I don't like bunnings at the best of times terrible service. The Mermaid store takes the cake.
Go to Nerang or Burleigh if you have to go.

You can easily waste many hours of your life visiting this bunnings in the hope that they have the one thing you need.i can assure you.they dont stock it. Just go to Burleigh up the road and dont waste your time here!

I have had the best Customer Service at this Bunnings. And horrendous customer service at Burleigh. This may have a lot less stock - SADLY - but it is definately the only one I will go to. Hopefully they start to stock more plants and other little things - like a full soil test kit instead of just the ph tester. I suffer Chronic Pain and take my wheelchair in.and they have always helped me so very much.thanks for being a great store and team

It's a great place to look around so much to see most of the staff are courteous and helpful friendly you should go there and explore the huge property yourself if they haven't got it I would say you couldn't get it anywhere it's a great place to shop.

Got a good selection of things you might need, but I'd choose Burleigh Bunnings for the sheer size and product range. Or check stock online before you go in to ensure they have what you need.

Paint guy was to busy trying to chat up some girl.waited over 5 minutes for him to be a rude wamker

Make sure you're not over 2.3 m ride height because they've got height bars here. Completely ridiculous for tradies to try and bring their Ute's and trucks in. Avoid like the plague.

Great store with friendly staff.
It's smaller than a Bunnings warehouse but that makes it much easier to navigate
