Bunnings Gladstone reviews
43Who doesn’t like Bunnings I go here even if I don’t need anything it’s great to have a browse and staff generally know we’re everything is
Extremely rude staff at the counter in the trade area. I have invested thousands and thousands buying items from Bunnings. The main reason to not buying items in there anymore are those staffs (among others). Bunnings Gladstone has no idea how to treat their professional clients! Long, long way to go “Manager”!
Its the worst bunnings I've been in Australia.nobody knows where anything is the service is not up to bunnings standards. I have been to most states off Australia and been in alots of bunnings. This place is no where near the level of any of them.
I am very disappointed with my experience. I waited in line at the service desk with 3 people in front of me. I have no problem waiting, but when it was almost my turn a man suddenly comes and cuts in front of me and the lady proceeds to serve him before myself. It appears as though the man had previously dropped a key off to have four copies cut, plus had various other things for purchase. My problem with this situation having worked in retail customer service for over 15 years is that retail staff should never condone other customers cutting in front of other customers. I feel it’s important to share this experience so customer service can be improved which should always be a priority of a successful business.
Absolutely infuriating, items placed well away from where they're supposed to be and basically no staff on the floor. I went to get some basics tomato fertilizer that instead of being placed in the correct isle that had plenty of vacant shelves it was isles away with the shovels etc. After walking to the other end of the store looking for help the guy said it had nothing to do with him and ask someone else, l explained I'd walked too where he is because there's no one else on the floor.
I’m not one to complain but this is the worse Bunnings to have ever been too. Terrible staff communication and everything I’ve received this far has been faulty.
Picked up a floor sander and was apologised for how dirty it was. When I returned it was threatened with a $35 cleaning fee. Recomend to go to coates you drive into the shed pickup with a crane and put it in your ute/trailer. And always clean and serviced when you pickup. Last time I give bunnings a go.
Never staff at checkouts just wait long time.very bad.make use self checkouts very poor.only 2chekouts open send to returns counter so have wait there as people return goods.
Howard in the lawn care section is very knowledgeable with all products, exceptional service from him every time
I always thought all bunnings were the same until I been into the ones at Gympie and Bundaberg.like every thing else in gladdy we get the lesser version
Very helpful Staff across the 3 sections I visited. Good products and Good Helpful Service.
I checked online to see if item I wanted was in stock (yes it was). Got to the stand none on shelf, asked for assistance. Item was outback and would not be available till next week. This has happened twice! Wasted time and fuel!
On Saturday I was at Bunnings and I met the loveliest girl, I believe her name was Keeley. She made it very easy and an enjoyable experience to help my toddler plant plants. Just wanted to add on that her fairy floss making skills are amazing! Keeley has just made my experience at Bunnings a whole lot better!
I've been shopping at Bunnings all over Australia for over 30 years. I have always been impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable the staff are. Not so with Bunnings in Gladstone. The young people and older fellas are great but obviously the local manager has apparently gone "woke" and hired an army of post-menopausal women who know nothing about their jobs or customer service: no registers open and three women gossiping at the entrance, "the tool shop register is open. "; "that sounds like a boy question, go see one of the blokes down the back. "; wandering off to chat to other staff when there are customers waiting at the service desk; "I'll get a fellow to find the plywood you want (while I go sit on my arse behind the counter.)
Honestly, if there was a Mitre 10 in Gladstone I wouldn't bother.
Great help in locating things I needed but don't go with a trailer on your car as there are never any parks always taken up by singles vehicles
Stood in line at checkout for 10 mins. I want to go home. Not stand in line. Put more people on.
Compared to Bundaberg and Rockhampton, Gladstone has the worst wait times at the front desk.in store and over the phone. Put more staff on!
Fantastic has everything cafe and play area. Lots of plants take all day to look around recommend
Guess what? It looks like a Bunnings, is set up like a Bunnings, and has them mad sausage sizzles on the weekend.
11/10
Serve yourself shop. Ask the lady at the tools counter for help finding a belt sander. She tells me to go and look for it. Good job bunnings.
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and curtious knew the item I described and told me exactly where it was also served in reasonable time for late night shopping. Great job staff of Bunnings Gladstone.
