Bunnings Caloundra reviews
59Howard is a very very elderly and old man. His service reflects poorly on an otherwise good store. Whatever you do, don’t ask him where something is, is rude, patronising and quite aggressive if you ask him for something. Whatever you do, stay away from Howard
Rude service by the old man with the beard at the only open register, before close around 6: 45,6th of January 2024. The old man serving us DID NOT ask whether my father was using flybuys or not. My dad flashed him the flybuys and tried to tap with the flybuys. But the old man mouthed off with an attitude, because my dad tried to tap the flybuys before the old man pressed the flybuys button. Regardless of who is in the wrong thats not how you talk to customers. The employee had no professionalism, and an attitude that poorly represented your store.
I want to give a big shout out to Bev the lovely lady in the paint section who was so helpful. I first went to bunnings Maroochydore and asked for help choosing my paint colours unfortunately the young lady on the paint counter there refused to help s I left my trolley full of purchase and went to Caloundra store. Staff at Maroochydore store to busy talking to each other. Not good.
Definitely see the old timers in the store as they have the knowledge.
Some team members are rude and disrespectful with no issues to walk away
But there is a good handful of people there that will go out of their way to help
Mainly got supplies from electrical and plumbing
OK. Went to get 1 x 3 metre sleeper for garden edge. Was quoted $90 yes $90 to deliver a sleeper 3klms to my home. This after having to interrupt a couple of chin wagging staff to get assistance. I'm used to the "very helpful staff" at this place. Made another purchase and guess what? When on your way out the door staff leap to tell me how I can hand over my money faster, at this or that register. Thanks bunnings. It seems all the truly helpful peeps are there to take your cash, and delivery fees are prohibitive!
I bought few long and some a bit heavy items, put on my trailer. The lady at the trade counter did not want to scan on my trailer and asked me to bring one by one in to the counter. This stop the traffic. And the guys asked me to go around another laps. He told me that just because I don’t know the process here. I guarantee that the scanner still works and she can scan on my trailer. Just a lazy mode.
What is the bad service of those guys.
First time at this Bunnings, was pleasantly surprised to find the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Published stock levels on the internet USELESS.
Visited the store 3 times over a week to buy "Terracotta Egg Planter Pots".
THEY ARE NEVER THERE DESPITE THE FOLLOWING:
Internet stock level showing 15;
Click & Collect not available;
Able to be ordered online BUT only with delivery @ $40.00;
How can they deliver if they haven't got any?
Staff useless, they know NOTHING;
Online Feedback USELESS as it turns into a "Survey";
No facility to contact management or complain properly;
Normal product ordering facility NOT AVAILABLE.
And to set it all off, Bunnings REFUSED to allow this review on its website.
Staff were Very Helpful & good product knowledge.
Very clean & well stocked store
Grumpiest staff in Australia. Management must be really dropping the ball to demoralize their staff so completely.
Shop here for alt least twice a week for tools and equipment for work or things for around the house. Everything is easy to find, staff are always really helpful too. The new PowerPass app is a game changer
I’d say replace the staff with AI/ total self service and customer satisfaction will triple.
Whilst a common factor at all Bunnings’, this store goes the extra mile in fielding unhelpful, rude, sour dropkicks.
I didn't go to Bunnings for anything 'Bunnings-ish'. I met a friend there for lunch! They have an awesome cafe (great prices), a great kids play area, and clean toilets. Plus all the usual Bunnings products. What more could I want? Oh yes, a sea view would be nice. Can't have everything, hey? !
A female Sales Staff member within the PAINTING DEPARTMENT, refused to add ochre and black to a blue based paint for use in our interior project.
Point blank refused our request.
Decided that she knew better. How dare she!
As with all people WITHIN RETAIL (as we once were), maybe avoid doing the Customers's decisions for them?
Our Handyman was waiting on the paint to be changed to his specifications.
Let the Customer decide which course of action should be taken. After all, it's THEIR shopping experience and not YOURS!
I think that particular woman should stick to mixing her Make Up and Lippy colours for herself at home only.
Sometimes hard find staff to assist locate item's. Perhaps search directories in main area's would be helpful.
Do ALL Bunnings stores have a 90% quota for staff with no idea and no interest in helping.who walk really quickly in the opposite direction when they realise you want help and who ignore you as they chat to each other and most of all.get out the wrong side of bed and don't try to hide it?
There are few staff who do help with a smile but shesh.it must be a crook place to work because staff appear to resent being there.or is it the lack of staff? Whatever it is they're the same at 3 Bunnings I go to on the Coast. The owners need to take a long hard look at their training and staffing levels. Shocking place to need assistance that's for sure. Time for me to support small local hardware stores.
Love going to Bunnings. This store has everything you could want and such a big selection of plants and gardening supplies
Went in today and shopped at the power tools section and was served by a lovely lady named Sue. She was a big big help and incredible sweet. Thank you for being so kind, hit me up with you want to adopt me as your grandson I got ya back Sue, stay awesome.
Typical Bunnings, plenty of good products at good prices, always very average service. Time for Bunnings in general to revisit their employee / client relations training.
Fantastic service at the Caloundra branch, staff were super friendly and helpful, made my day, thanks!
