Buderim Tavern reviews
77David K is the absolute master at cocktails at this venue, if you dine here please ask for him. An absolute phenomal!
Came for dinner with my wife. There was a few outstanding members of the team. Especially David and Braith
Amazing food, staff and atmosphere. Can't fault it at all. It's a bit pricey but u certainly get what u paid for, which is definitely worth it.
Unbeatable views, good quality pub food and, in this occasion, Santa showing up to make the little ones' evening.
A place we like to come back to.
What a great location. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Nice menu. Great views. Food comes with smiling staff and delivered quickly. About normal food prices if not a little dearer.but you can't beat the views.
Having been a restauranteur for many years, I feel I know what a rare steak looks, tastes like and excellent floor staff customer service.
Gold star ️ for young Keeley (floor staff) who dealt with my complaint as a med/ rare, cold chips arrived.
Keeley knows how to look after complaining customers, nothing is a bother, old saying customer always right.
Yet the poor girl was put into the position to return to my table with a msg from the prima donna chef, to tell the customer, not with the correct answer “ No problem madame “ but
“ that is a rare steak and you must be wanting a blue steak”
Keeley handled it very well “ Thank you Keeley “ ️
Member of staff to keep Buderim Tavern
The 4 staff I had contact with were polite, cheerful helpful & engaging in conversation. Great atmosphere with open fireplace, lounges, plenty of tables & stools. Had a bar parma very good & well priced. Plenty of car parks. Recommend this pub / tavern.
Wonderful friendly staff who helped keep our two children happy and made this a great experience. Thank you team!
Myself and my family use to love coming here, however tonight we firstly moved seats as other patrons ruined the atmosphere with the word c%#t being said every 3 seconds during their loud conversations. We ordered, steak veg and mash, mine and my partners veg both smelt and tasted of fish, the steak was ordered as still pink however was almost considered dehydrated jerky but the mash was nice. Really disappointing when the best part of the entire meal was the glass of lemonade.
Fantastic, EVERYTHING! Share Plates are great, we also had the Pie/Mash and Caesar Salad with an add on of Calamari. Red Wine and Lemon Lime and Bitters. There were only 3 of us so no need to book. Got a table by the window over looking the valley to the south. It can get busy although staff made us feel very comfortable and we'll looked after.
I booked for our work Christmas party of 30 and I can highly recommend the Buderim tavern. Lisa was fabulous with our reservation making everything so easy. The table was decorated with bonbons, they gave us table service and the meals were restaurant quality. You just can’t beat that view, the excellent service and value. Highest praise 10/10
Staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly, helpful and polite. The Graziers beef pie was absolutely superb. Compliments to the chef and their team. The green veggies were fresh and very welcome. Thank you
Great time with amazing food and great service provided by Darren. Thanks for the great service mate
Great food great spot. Not too busy. Pity kids area was closed. We booked and took 2 small kids but kids area wasnt open. A few tears there.
We had a very tasty lunch, beautifully cooked and presented. The service was fast and friendly. Our waiter, Darren was fun and very helpful. We will certainly be back.
Nice lunch but.
Staff wear their masks under their chin or barely covering their mouth, table cleaning undertaken by using a dry cloth which was taken out of and put back into the apron pocket, one waitress walking around with a handful of 'clean' forks whilst slapping the prongs of the forks against the palm of her other hand - hardly covid safe or hygienic practices.
And the young man serving and making the coffee - so abrupt and rude to customers although very animated and happy with staff members.
Lovely venue but badly let down by practices and attitude of staff.
Great atmosphere and friendly service, always delicious food. Lucky place to have wonderful staff like Darren! Thanks Buderim Tav!
Good food ruined by poor service. My wife ordered a steak with mash and veggies as an option. It came with the standard salad and chips so she was not impressed. We also ordered desert with our meal and had to chase these up after waiting 40 minutes after our main meal. Overall, not impressed with the service at all. Will not hurry back anytime soon.
First visit, a nice tavern located over a scenic rim. Service was poor. It took too long to get our drinks and even longer to get the cake and an even longer wait to get the coffee all being ordered the same time.
Perfect location with the most stunning views!
Food was amazing and well proportioned for the price! Darren was the perfect waiter, with his wit and light hearted table service making the experience even better!
