Buderim Gastroenterology Centre

If you have to have one of these procedures, this is the place to get it done. The pre-procedure appointment was by a friendly and kind nurse who was very thorough in explaining the Prep and taking my medical history. The day of the procedure was super easy and not long to wait. I went in and got changed and within 15 minutes i was in getting the procedure done. The nurses were very kind and all staff including admin, doctors & nurses treated me with kindness and most of all dignity.
My doctor was Dr Damien Heffernan. He took the time to listen to my symptoms and then afterwards took the time to explain what tests are being done and what he found upon examination of my colon, in a thorough & thoughtful manner.
Overall my experience of this business was 10/10

I walked into there front desk and the lady behind (sorry forgot name) was so lovely and I felt completely welcomed.
The Dr, nurses were absolutely fantastic and there singing when I woke up from my procedure the singing made me at easy, they treat you like a princess, if I have another procedure I sure will go back to there rooms.

Had a colonoscopy early on a Monday morning. Preparation information was thorough and efficient, clear and followed up by staff with a phone call. Lots of information on timings and what to expect. Staff were friendly and professional and the anesthetist was the best I've ever had. Most of all it was fast with barely any waiting time. If you have to have a procedure, I cant think of a better place to go.

Another car decides to park in a disability park spot. Why don't management do something about these people who are to lazy to a couple of hundred metres️

Had a procedure done yesterday, the staff were just wonderful and caring looking after me, and the doctor and anathestic were just great informing me of all the information I needed, thankyou.

Worst experience I have ever had, the doctor perforated my bowel. Spent 7 days in hospital, 5 of which on emergency surgery list. Lucky my body fought and healed itself.

Buderim Gastro is a warm, caring and totally professional day hospital. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for a colonoscopy or gastroscopy.

From the moment I walked in I was treated with respect, dignity, I felt like I was important to them. The girls in reception were friendly and efficient, the admission nurse was wonderful and explained the process in layman's terms. The Dr came and spoke to me prior to my procedure (and after!) and answered my all questions.
The Anaesthetist made me very comfortable and before I knew it I was sitting up in Recovery being handed amazing fresh sandwiches and a cuppa. The Nurses in Recovery made sure that I felt 100% before they left me in the care of my Driver.
I cannot fault this Day Hospital in any way, shape or form at all.
They made an uncomfortable situation easy and they made me feel like I wasn't just another number.
