The worst customer service! Purchased a gurney online and been waiting over a week for it to be posted and was told most staff are off sick. Well just refund the order instead of making customers wait so long. I would never buy anything from these guys again. Calling fair trading today.

Nice old school feel about it more personal friendly happy enthusiastic staff knowledgeable And helpful good variety of products and prices are on par with the B warehouse so would recommend if you don't want to go to a crazy busy B warehouse

It’s no wonder Bunnings is getting all the customers! I just purchased online for a Father’s Day present, which didn’t suit his immediate needs and I saved the receipt just incase! He took it back to the Browns Plains shop to exchange, not even get a refund as he found something more suitable. The manager advised he would not be able to exchange as It was a special order. Please tell me how this is my problem as a consumer and how I was advised of this at time of online purchase? The item that I paid for in full is not suited, the item was not unwrapped, so should be offered a suitable replacement. I cannot believe in this time, that this is your response. Never Again Home Hardware!

One of the very few Hardware stores around that give you personalised service. And have items that the big chain one does not have and you don't have to look for it yourself and the price is often less than that big chain store. This store is proof that big or more popular is NOT better.

I always get great service with a happy smile at Browns Plains Home hardware. It is so refreshing to have a staff member take you to what you're looking for. It will always be my first stop for my hardware needs.

Gentleman is friendly. First time customer's here and the women owner looked us up and down like we were criminals, Was very pushy wanting to know what we wanted. When we say we're just browsing, Then gave us both the stink eye and wouldn't let us just look in the store.

What a great little local hardware store. Definately a more friendly hands on local experience.

I will definately be going back here for my hardware and gardening needs. At least I can buy things like washers singularly instead of in bulky packs.

I prefer to go here rather than bunnings, they are always helpful and cheerful. Would be great if there where more hardware stores like this around.

This my husband review. " My first time there. I went there looking for a specific padlock and Malcolm was very helpful. Even though they didnt have it but they will get it for me in time. Excellent costumer service. Its more like a close friend, a uncle, a father or grand dad who is helping you-its more kind of personal. Its very nice to experience a classic old school costumer service like this. Hopefully more people will embrace and shop this fantastic local hardware of ours. Tried to change a mower that a family member had just bought because it wasnt cutting the grass nor was it catching it just got clogged up and apparently i couldnt get a refund or even change it cos the mower isnt designed to cut grass and it wasnt broken great job NOT wont be going there again what a joke
i specifically said it was not overgrown and it was completly dry making up things now to make your look the nice people, thats very professional
