Brookside Country Meats

Extremely bad experience - first and last shop. Rack of lamb purchased was in fact very old, tough mutton - impossible to chew. So looking forward to nice tender juicy lamb but instead treated to expensive, inedible piece of meat. So disappointing - this meat outlet must surely be aware of this unethical practice.

Great meat at great prices also the pies are amazing. I would love to be able to buy direct from the bakery if possible. If you have to drive to get to a butcher this one is a must.

We've been going to Brookside meats for years, we love it there. The meat is always of high quality, good prices, and the staff always kind and courteous. Good stuff!

Wonderful butcher with freshest and highest quality goods, very reasonably priced. I love that they can tell you exactly which farm each of their products are from.

Spent $110 at Brookside's last weekend while on the Goldie for the weekend from Moreton Bay and money well spent.
Will definitely buy from there again on my next visit.

Love the selection of meats and the walk in freezer is a great experience. Best place to go if you want a butcher that is self service. Staff are always friendly too.

My daughter and I have travelled up and down the Gold Coast and always check out new butchers but decided today we won't bother anymore. Have been shopping at Brookside for years. Best and cheapest meat anywhere. Thankyou Brookside, it is especially appreciated in these hard times when everything due to Covid is so expensive. We will definately continue to support you!

The prices are much cheaper and the meat is great quality. We have been regular customers and the staff are very friendly.

The meat is so fresh and of great quality. We have bought chicken, pork and beef Ana can’t fault it at all. Very reasonably priced too compared to most butchers and I love the fact that almost everything is locally sourced.

Been supporting this store since 2004 they use to sell the super best quality of lamb chops and this was the place I drove from miles to buy.
Unfortunately with the new owners the quality of lamb chops have dropped. Too much fat and the meat smells when cooked.

The new owners I have tried you three times since the change over still very disappointed.

I did leave the message with your staff at the counter.

The display on the top is looking lean and the bottom layer full of fat. This is deceiving.

Please get the standard back on or else we will not come again.

Got a full lamb chopped up at a great price and chucked it in my chest freezer. Me and my partner where stoked with the quality. Definently going back again when the lamb runs out!

Meat was off before use by date The owner got agressive with me when I bought it back to show him lost a good customer

The meat is off this is the 5th time ive bought meat (rump) (Porterhouse) and it STINKS before you even cook it.and you can still taste it after its been cook.must get the health department involved.

I cannot fault this butcher at all. Excellent prices, the best range of meat you will come across and staff are always lovely and so helpful, plus the quality is sensational. We won't go anywhere else!

A must visit for the fortnightly meat shop! Great quality meat, huge variety and prices are set so you get great value.
Front of house staff are always friendly and helpful. They do sometimes sell out of things towards the end of the day so head down in the morning so you get all that you need.its now our regular butcher.

Have just found out about this place. Well worth the hour journey for fresh meat and great savings for a big family like I have. Meat tastes great and will recommend you go visit as well.
